📸 Just a Quick and Final AI Clarification 📸
I’m going to address this one last time because there still seems to be some confusion about “AI” and my photography.
Every photo that I share is a real photograph taken by me with my Canon camera. Real clients, real locations, real sessions, and real moments that I personally photograph.
I edit my work using Adobe Lightroom and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, both of which are professional editing programs I pay for annually. And yes, like most professional editing software today, both programs have AI and machine-learning technology built into some of their editing tools.
That does NOT automatically make a photograph “AI-generated.”
There is a big difference between using AI-assisted editing tools on a real photograph and having AI generate the photograph itself.
Editing has always been part of photography, and technology continues to evolve. I have my own editing style, and I completely understand that it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. That’s okay! Photography is art, and we’re all allowed to like different things.
What isn’t okay is repeatedly following my work onto community pages, attacking it, or trying to discredit my business because you don’t personally like the way I edit.
You don’t have to like my work. You don’t have to hire me. But repeatedly targeting my business crosses a line.
My clients choose me because they like what I create, and those are the people I’m creating for.
If my photography isn’t for you, I genuinely respect that. Keep scrolling and support a photographer whose work you love.
As for me, I’m going to keep picking up my camera, creating, editing, learning, and doing what I’ve loved doing for many years.
Different photography styles can exist without tearing someone else down. It’s really that simple.
