Fun fact! As you all know, my son has been working as an apprentice alongside me at some of my sessions. But did you know that when you give permission for him to tag along, you also get the added bonus of photos captured directly by him?! 🙌

It’s honestly so neat seeing the different angles he finds, the way he frames his shots, and the technique he’s developing all on his own. He’s learning so much, and watching his photography grow has been such a cool experience.

I had the absolute honor of celebrating my sweet friend and an incredible milestone—the release of her memoir!

🌊🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾🌊

Maple celebrated by taking her FIRST float trip last weekend… because apparently being a Great Dane isn’t dramatic enough without putting 120+ pounds of dog on a raft. 😂

She handled the river like a CHAMP and somehow managed to draw attention everywhere we went. 🥹

📸 THIS is why I love photographing people who are willing to have a little fun. 😂

Because sometimes “okay, now just give me a cute, natural pose” turns into…

✨ piggyback rides
✨ someone falling into the grass
✨ legs flying everywhere
✨ uncontrollable laughter
✨ and apparently… a surprise appearance by Anna’s pup 😂🐕‍🦺

And honestly? I’ll take these photos over the perfectly posed ones ANY DAY.

The best photos aren’t always the ones where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling pretty. Sometimes they’re the ones that make you laugh so hard you can barely look at them without remembering exactly what was happening. ❤️

So I need to know…
