I’ve worked with J&N for years leading up to the wedding (literally, we all worked at the same restaurant 😂) and I’m so grateful to have been apart of their huge day 🥹

This was the same day that I ended up with a flat tire and corroded flash batteries. But damn it were we gonna make it happen even if I had to freaking walk! 😁💗

One year ago today, March 25 2025, I did a photoshoot based off The Handmaids Tale. At the time, we didn’t see how dark things were about to become. I held onto hope that this time next year this photo shoot would be based sheerly off a book and not real life.
The other day, Ohio House Bill 754, introduced by Rep. Jean Schmidt, proposes mandatory registration of all fetal deaths regardless of gestational age and creates a new “certificate of life” to be filed within 10 days of detecting a fetal heartbeat.
Call me crazy, but that is actually insane and just another power move over women and their reproductive rights.

We are now a year post and this photo shoot hold relevance now than it did last year. Please look out for your people and create safe spaces within your communities. We are stronger together. 🫂🫂🫂

I’m still kind of at a loss for what I can do in this situation. I wanted to share this in hopes it might help bring community to others who have been threatened in this way or maybe bring this issue to light.

I am an LGBTQ+ owned and all inclusive photographer. Never in my whole life would I ever think of saying, sharing, posting, texting something derogatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, or rude to someone else on this planet.

This isn’t a situation that should be taken lightly. Even if it is a joke or a form of scamming. This is my livelihood and things like this are not taken lightly.

Please be kind to others.

Joes Creative Connection offers not only unique photo shoot opportunities for people ranging in modeling experience, but there’s creative activity events like tye-dye night and paint a planter pot night!

The Creative Connection is meant to offer a safe space for everyone while not setting strict limitations on creativity. The events encourage you to come as your most confident self, celebrate your own beauty and creativity in every possible way.
