A simply amazing display of nature's power. The colors are from electrons smashing into oxygen molecules.
Green is most common and that interaction happens from 62 to 186 miles up.
Red is less common, happening from 186 miles to 248 miles above Earth.

It's always fun to clear old memory cards. You never know what you'll be looking back at. This was from a junkyard fire in Carlisle Township. They ended up having a plane do water drops on the fire. I've had the chance to see that during chases out west but never here in Ohio.

I’m enjoying some rain that’s falling on about 50 people as a veryyyy tiny rain cell pops up this evening.

90 degree day, doing a wedding outside. Sure it’s hot but it’s good to be doing one.

It’s been a tough year. A couple weddings cancelled and will be going a different direction. A couple decided to move the dates to next year and several shifted to later this year.

The couple today had to make some adjustments and they aren’t doing the reception but it’s all about getting married so they don’t seem to mind. 🙂

Life is getting better. Hopefully everybody stays healthy from here on.
