This is not what you would find in most branding photographers social media or website. You spend so much time planning, yes, and that is super important! But you also need to take care of YOU!

You want to FEEL your best on shoot day- and confident that the result will be images that represent YOU and your brand.

So take care of yourself. Make sure you have everything ready, hydrate, give yourself a peptalk, do a hype check with your photographer, get a good night sleep, take a walk.

When you invest in this, you invest in yourself! AND let it be the BEST DAY EVER!

Some seasons call you to slow down. For me, this is one of them.

This summer I’m choosing my kids, the long days, the backyard moments. The things that go fast whether you’re paying attention or not.

I’m not stepping away from what I’ve built either. I’m just tending it differently. Slower. More intentionally. In a way that actually feels good.

Growth doesn’t always look like hustle. Sometimes it looks like watering your strawberries with your kids nearby and trusting that showing up consistently, even quietly, is enough.

Well, I think you get my point! This all holds true, and I can say it because I have many years worth of clients who have seen success with their investments.

There is so much that goes into this type of photography in order to provide the most value you can as a business owner.

It isn’t just about the photos. It’s about strategy, storytelling, credibility, and authentically showing up consistently, so people can trust and connect with you. ❤️‍🔥

Otherwise, it’s just another expense.

One more month until these two shave their manes for childhood cancer! This is the second year in a row they decided to participate in raising money and cutting off their hair to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to “Conquer Kids’ Cancer”! I am so proud of them, because in the grand scheme of things this is a small sacrifice for such a large problem, but we know every little bit helps towards making a difference!

I know we are gearing up for Christmas shoots, but I am still gushing with my love for fall and editing alllll the sessions!! And happy kids playing with the leaves and amusing me as I throw silly ideas at them just makes my heart sing!

This is a throwback of a session that still has my heart! It was one of my first years of officially being a full time business owner. And this leaf was probably the biggest I’ve ever seen at a fall shoot!

This time of year everyone wants the mini sessions- and I’m all for it! I also want to stress the importance of a full session every few years. A full session gives you undivided attention, more time to play, and time for more timid children to warm up- ultimately giving you incredible images and memories to look back on forever. There is nothing like a full family session. Choose your favorite time of year and plan to book one- you won’t regret it!!
