There’s just something about photographing fall color. 🍂

I loved the mix of heirloom pumpkins, burgundy pansies, Freckles lettuce and foxtail fern in this little scene at .

White, dark green, mustard, orange, burgundy and yellow—so many colors and textures happening in one little corner.

I could photograph this kind of thing all day.

Thomas at The Woodburn Plantation. 🤎

A senior session for the State President of FFA—so it felt pretty fitting to bring his session somewhere with a little history and character.

Pretty sure I had my own private tour guide during this session! So fun!

These little finger-puppet books brought me right back. 🥹

My kids loved these when they were little, so I definitely had to include them when I was photographing .

Now that it’s cooling off, I’m looking forward to some senior sessions in this fall field. 🍂

Caroline’s session was gorgeous, and I especially loved all the texture from this tall grass.

This one was especially fun. 😍

I had the sweetest time with my daughter’s class recently. I got to take some alternative yearbook photos, and honestly, spending that time with these kids and their teachers brought me so much joy.

They are such a special group of kids, each with their own little personalities, smiles, and ways of making you laugh. And their teachers? Pretty amazing too.

I can’t share all of the photos, but I wanted to share a little peek at this sweet experience. I’m so thankful I got to spend a little extra time with the people who get to be such an important part of my daughter’s world.

I didn't realize how many bird finds were tucked throughout until I started photographing them. 🐦

Feeders, birdhouses, suet feeders… so many different styles and options.

I just tried a suet feeder myself and now I love it—way less mess than a regular bird feeder!

Thought this was the perfect session for the last day of summer! 🌻

Emily and Grady are two of my absolute favorites. Their energy and their smiles are just the best, they just make every session so much fun. And when Grady spotted a tractor out in the field, we obviously had to stop and get a few more pictures. 😂 It's amazing how many pictures you can get in just 20 minutes!

I can’t wait to do sunflower sessions again next year, but I have to say… I’m really loving these cooler days!

Okay, now that I’m ready for you, fall! 🍂🤎

This letterman jacket was such a fun addition to his senior session! I love when seniors bring along things that show a little bit of who they are and where they’ve been.
