this micro wedding on lake jocassee was the perfect place for lydia + lache to make it official before their destination wedding in October. not only is this lake special to me, it’s such a pivotal part of their relationship.

their ceremony & reception were at laches grandparents lake house, where they built their life together and for their family members to come. not only was this their perfect backdrop for the wedding day, and the ultimate vacation spot, but this is where lache and lydia started their relationship. such a sweet day for the porters!!🩵🕊️🚤

recapping this lovely mid afternoon ceremony celebrating the gaineys! what a special day surrounded by friends and family from near and far. the day started with a first look at hopeland gardens, a christ centered ceremony, and coffee truck for cocktail hour! the gainey’s love for one another, and their guests, are infectious. a day full of love and laughter🕊️💌⛪️
