It’s been a year.
I miss you dad. Wish I could call you up and talk.

My dad bought a Wi******er single shot bolt action .22 at the age of 7 in 1959 and it was handed down to me when he passed. It was in rough shape, but I fixed her up and now she shoots true. I got his .22 out along with G’s BB gun and taught my boy how to shoot today.

When G was done I turned on some classic rock and put 100 rounds through dad’s gun while sitting on top of the wrangler, plinking off tiny targets by the light of the headlights. What a beautiful moment.

It’s great being a dad now

When I started Photography I was a dog photographer. I believe we can learn so much about living a balanced life from being around dogs, and if you have a dog you know that’s true. I owe so much to and his dad (and photographer) for the years of inspiration that got me to where I am today, both in my career as a pro photographer and in my everyday life; slowing down and living in the moment with my own kids and dog.

I’d do anything to shake Loki’s paw and be in that moment for a moment.

Bowie knives were designed to be a multi use fighting/brush clearing/survival knife, and this smaller option gives you the added benefit of concealability. And in aerospace grade titanium? Indestructible. Great piece of gear to have in the collection

You ever been followed by a drone? My first experience happened earlier this week, and although it was for a bike chase and it was fun, and actually turned out to be a sick shot, it did feel quite apocalyptic. Gonna buy a shotg*n now. Just in case.
