After a night in Reykjavik, we made our way out to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Home of the infamous Kirkjufell image that is iconic Iceland. The weather was beautiful so that's always a plus when visiting here!

And just a reminder that I will be donating 50% of proceeds from all sales from my shop to help out Nepal. My small way of doing something. I thank you for your support.

**EDIT** I have upped it to 50% for all sales through the end of September. A wonderful way for you to help out and end up with some art.

I am overwhelmed with grief over the tragic flooding in Nepal. Beginning today, 20% of ALL proceeds from any sale in my shop will be donated to a relief fund to help those in need.
I just can not comprehend the enormity of this disaster. I've never seen anything like it.

Preparation has begun! I purchased a Think Tank Mindshift backpack last year and haven't looked back. It's perfectly balanced no matter how much gear I stuff into it. It feels like nothing on my back. Some of what's inside:

I'm going back! Iceland - I just can't stay away. Which means I absolutely must post this video from my first visit (2019), when we were evacuated from our coastal hotel due to a hurricane! We stayed further inland for the (unbelievably windy) night. We were unable to leave until around 3 the following day.
I convinced Lisa Aurora Campbell to do her best impression while the storm was winding down. Nailed it. BTW - there was a set of wrought iron furniture outside of those rooms you see when she moves to the right... the wind took them who knows where.
Hoping for better weather this time, although we will make the best of it regardless. So I can bring back more images like this!

And now for something completely different. Draft horse feathers! Who doesn't love watching those feathers fly? Backlit by the setting sun, Miss P's feathers were giving all the feels. Available now as either 10" x 10" or 12" x 12", framed or unframed.
