The rain came down, the veil caught on the old blue truck, everyone ran for cover between portraits, and somehow it all made the day feel even more beautiful. The kind of wedding that reminds you the best moments are never the perfectly posed ones, they’re the ones you can actually feel years later.

Stepping in front of the camera when you’re used to always being behind it is honestly way more uncomfortable than I expected.

I spend so much of my time documenting other people’s stories, moments, emotions, and memories that I’ve realized I rarely let people actually see me behind the brand. But this business is personal to me. The way I photograph, the way I connect with people, the way I tell stories… it all comes from who I am.

So this is me trying to show up more. Not just with pretty photos, but with personality, intention, and the heart behind everything I create.

Because what makes every photographer different isn’t just the camera in their hands. It’s the person holding it.

The old stone walls, the quiet countryside, the way the light falls against a veil and lace gown like it was pulled from a painting. It never feels rushed there. Every moment feels intentional, romantic, and almost cinematic.

Bridal portraits are more than just pretty photos to me. They are the moments where a bride finally gets to pause, breathe everything in, and fully feel what this season of life means before the day continues around her.
