My Dear Child monthly workshop will be next Wednesday, May 20th.

This is my favorite photo that I’ve ever taken of Cierra. I was training at a photography studio (Yuen Lui) and the assignment was children’s eyes. It was the first photo I took….. and I knew when I took it it was special.

In this month’s workshop we will be learning to take a photo of your child similar to this lighting setup.

Oh you Moms. I see you! It has been at least a dozen years since I've gifted a session on Mother's Day and I can't let it pass by this year without doing so.
Please nominate a Mom who you admire by tagging them in this post. This can be a friend, a sister, your Mom, a Mom of a 4 legged furry baby....they all are amazing.
I will choose a random tagged Mom on Mother's Day to receive a photo session with you and your children to be used in 2026.

I’m so excited to hold the first class tomorrow evening at Tulip Town! We will begin at 6:30 (after hours) however I should be there by 6 PM so feel free to come anytime. If you have not signed up yet, it’s not too late! This is a small intimate group so the more the merrier.🌷🌷
I know it could be a late evening for your kiddos, but please feel free to bring them as well. It’s supposed to be a beautiful evening and we will get to photograph during that beautiful golden hour!

It's not too late to sign up for my year long workshop! I have changed the start date to the evening of April 29th to better accommodate those that have signed up. I still plan on meeting out at the tulip fields....location tbd depending on still in bloom fields.

This is a program where you will learn techniques that I've found useful to become the best photographer for your child, grandchild, or children in general! To recap what the program entails:

-Monthly meet ups that will be 30 minutes learning, 30 minutes implementing. Each month will have a theme.

-What's Up app group & page to ask questions and share ideas throughout the year.

-End of year professional art show featuring the photographs you took throughout the year. We will dress up and invite friends/family to this special evening.

In just two weeks I will begin a year long project called, Dear Child.
I would love to share with you some of the ways I photograph children. This little one wanted to eat some peas from my garden…..and wa la…..a one minute photo shoot was accomplished with beautiful photos that will be treasured forever!
