This Thursday I will photograph my last child in my extremely busy Little Miracles Baby Plan that I've had for 35 years. Since 1978 at Sears Studio to 46 years in my own portrait business, I have photographed 1,846 babies, from newborns to one year olds in my Little Miracles Baby Portrait Plan. I am still photographing babies, but am no longer offering the full year plan. (Crawling around on the studio floor after 47 years in business is a little tougher than it was when I was in my 20s! lol) I am still doing business- high school seniors, babies, toddlers, and family portraits - but no longer the full year baby plan. Thank you to all who came in for all those years - and smiles and tears - many of the babies are now 50 years old! Here's to many more years getting to do what I love to do! Here's a very small sample of all those sweet faces.

HIVEMIND ALERT: Taking Bids and Opinions. Looking for someone to dig a trench in the concrete to create a new drain, since old one is blocked and broken and cannot be repaired. This will be jack hammering up a trench in the floor, over to the the window, through the foundation under the window, then under about 30 feet of driveway, with a trench dug down through the driveway for the pipe to be buried, then repaved. Hi FB HIVEMIND - my daughter Charlotte is a member of a Music Service Sorority at the university of Maine. They raise funds to do service and charity work around the area. Their main fundraiser is this Saturday and Charlotte is this year's music chairperson. She had several local bands lined up to donate a half hour each during the day. They would play at the steps of the Fogler Library, on the Mall at the University of Maine Orono campus. I just got the call "Dad can you help? Some of the acts backed out last minute!" They need someone for 10 am or 10:30 for 25 minutes of so (PA all set up as well as drums, but guitars and guitar amps not provided). I am trying to put something small together myself to help in the 2 to 2:20 pm timeslot. If are in a local band, any genre, single act, duo, etc or full band, let me know today, and I'll give you more deets and connect you to my daughter Charlotte. She's gotten a lesson in booking bands (even those donating their time for unpaid fundraisers) - it doesn't always work out. Thanks for passing this on to any musicians/single/duo/band acts you may know who are willing to spend 20 minutes or so this Saturday. Thanks for your help!

I am posting this image of Mother Mary and Jesus, a photograph I created In recognition of Easter weekend. I took this photograph In 2015, at the altar in St. John's Church on York Street in Bangor. The Catholic churches in Brewer and Bangor had a Stations of the Cross recreation, which went by foot from St. Joe's in Brewer, across the Penobscot Bridge and up to St. John's on York Street. I hadn't planned on taking any photos but this was so amzingly well done I got caught up and took enough to make an album of the events. There were dozens dressed as Roman Centaurians, by-standers along the way in period clothing, all the biblical charaters recreated, with students, parents and clergy. Charlotte was attending All Saints at the time, but was not in this particular event. The chrurch was packed as I took this photo but you could hear a pin drop - chills. I donated a canvas print of this to the church.
