"Red Skeleton"
*Yes, this photograph is titled with an awkward pun, but a descriptive one. Its a very minor part of an amazing Halloween display called Town Hill Cemetery in Dedham, Maine-just the town border in fact.

"Waterfront Foliage"
*The Brewer Waterfront looked positively radiant today. Though the original photo didn't pick up the way my eyes saw it? A little editing make short work of that.

*Just finishing up dinner in Waterville, Maine last weekend? Was lucky enough to get this particular "moon shot". It just worked on so many levels!

"Caught In The Act"
*Accompanied by my boyfriend at Ecotat last weekend, we accidentally interrupted the mating of two dragonflies. Odd as I felt about it, did get a photo of what appeared to be the female. # insects

"Chinese Lanterns"
The week since my last photo here has been very emotionally trying-especially as my beloved summer season begins to ebb. These lanterns, taken in downtown Bangor Maine on Sunday, are still beautiful.

"Daddy Long Legs"
*Its been a rather rainy, cloudy, windy and dry September 2019 so far. Save for a beautiful, if cool Sunday the 2nd. But even under the clouds, this closeup of a Daddy Long Legs really stood out.

*Unsure what butterfly or moth this caterpillar is going to turn into. But it certainly captured my attention today.

"Yellow Garden Spider"
*Seen many photographs of these recently. And was so happy this week to see one right across the street from where I live.

"Toad On The Door"
*This little orange toad was the source of a hilarious situation Wednesday morning. Trying to get out for a bike ride. And the toad hopped onto our floor, off the closet door and finally out the door again when I opened it back up. Also posed for several photos for me-including this one.
