My favorite memoryfrom this session is how beautifully they laughed together and cried together. It was a painful time in their lives, but they stood strong, holding space for each other.

It feels like cancer can take everything. But that’s a lie. There’s some things that are forever that cancer can’t touch, can’t take away.

My work with Adventure Therapy Foundation has shown me an entirely different side of cancer. I’m honored to be able to work alongside them, telling stories. Capturing moments. Creating space for the right now.

Our community is carrying an unimaginable loss today.

The two Liberty High School students who lost their lives were deeply loved children, friends, classmates, teammates, and so much more.

Our hearts are with their families, their friends, the students and staff at Liberty, and every person whose life was touched by these young people. We are grieving alongside you and praying that you feel surrounded by the love and support of this community, not only today, but throughout the difficult days and weeks ahead.

Hold your people close.
Be gentle with one another. Our community is mourning together.
