Rowdy West is going faceless. 🤍
After recent developments surrounding AI-generated sexual content involving children, I’ve made the decision that I am no longer comfortable publicly sharing identifiable images of my clients’ children.
Even with parental permission, I personally cannot justify exposing children online for the sake of my business.
This does not mean I’m stepping away from family photography or working with children. I will absolutely still be photographing your babies, your families, your milestones, and all of those beautiful little moments that deserve to be remembered.
The difference is simply in what I share publicly.
Moving forward, when I share sessions involving children, I’ll be intentionally capturing faceless images, photographing from behind, using creative crops and details, or blurring children’s faces when necessary. I can still tell the story of your family and showcase my work, just a little more cautiously.
I’ll also be going back through my pages and removing or limiting older images where children’s faces are clearly identifiable. So if you notice photos from your session disappearing, please know there is absolutely nothing wrong with your images. 🤍
I love photographing your babies. I love watching your families grow. And if there is something within my control that may give them even a little more privacy and protection, I’m going to do it.
As a mother.
As a business owner.
As your photographer.
And as your friend.
Thank you for understanding and supporting this decision. 🤍
