I had the most fun today. Their genius mama requested a slight change, and I was thrilled to turn our session pink!
One of my favorite things about this setup is that the props are perfect for little ones who, let’s be honest, can’t sit still. Instead of forcing a pose, they just get to sip lemonade, play with lemons, and be their naturally adorable selves! Win win!

Dressing for a session? Easy peasy lemon squeezy! 🍋
Picking outfits for a photo session can be daunting, but I’ve got your back! I had these adorable aprons custom made for the Lemonade Minis and I couldn’t be more thrilled with them. I have a few different kid sizes, 2 girls and 1 boy pattern, as well as a mama’s apron. 💛
If you’re booking a mini with me, and planning your outfits, here are a few things to consider:
🍋Coordinate instead of match- your kiddos don’t need to all have the same exact outfit. Often, dressing them in complimenting colors will make a much bigger impact. Choose colors that go well with yellow such as white, denim, or mint. Solid colors, neutrals, or a lemon print are the way to go!
🍋To apron or not to apron? If you have your own idea for their outfits, such as an adorable lemon print piece (I saw a few super cute things at Old Navy recently) go for it! The aprons are there for you if you don’t have time to go out and buy something new. A nice white shirt and jeans will do perfectly well.
🍋 Shoes - kids don’t usually have the most flattering shoes I’ve learned. Often they’re also very dirty🤣 If you’re ok with it, they can always go barefoot on the grass. If not, some plain white sandals from Walmart, or yellow rain boots would do the trick!
🍋 Lastly, be ready to sweat! Weather in Texas is brutal right now and I’m scheduling most sessions in the morning. Breathable clothes are a must! Your kiddos will have lemonade to sip, but may need extra hydration as well.
