One minute he’s all smiles and laughter. The next, you catch that look that makes you realize just how much he’s grown.
That’s what I love about photographing Seniors. I’m not just looking for a good smile—I want to get to know the person behind it. What makes them laugh. What they love. The things that make them uniquely them.
As a mom, I know how quickly this season goes. And while every stage of life deserves to be documented, the teen years are the ones I truly love. I have SO much fun getting to know these young adults and creating images that parents will still treasure long after they’ve left home.
Trevan and I had an absolute blast during his first session—90 minutes, 3 locations, at least 5 different looks, and enough variety to create the kind of Senior album that tells more of his story than a handful of quick snapshots ever could.
So please, don’t let this season be reduced to 15 minutes in a field with a stranger.
Your Senior is worth more than that.
This season is fleeting. Let’s make sure you have more than a few pictures to remember it by.
