ANNOUCEMENT: Happy International Women's Day - I just can't let another day go by without giving a shoutout to the incredible woman who makes every day brighter, my amazing bride, Daphne!

Not only is she my best friend, but she's also a rockstar mom & Nana to our tribe, a loving daughter, and an amazingly talented photographer/kick-ass business owner and the UFC's #1 fan. She's also someone who's overcome serious mountains placed on her shoulders while kicking and screaming with a smile on her face the whole time, well most of the time.

From overcoming abuse & addiction to embracing life's beautiful moments, she's shown me the true meaning of strength and resilience. I'm in awe of the way she faces challenges with grace, grit, and humor (even if that means laughing at my terrible jokes).

As a professional artist, she captures the essence of people's life in every frame, showing the world just how incredible they are. Her passion for capturing the beauty in others is not just a job, it's a mission – and damn, she's on a war path to succeed.

I'll let y'all in on a "secret moment" that I absolutely love, yet others probably haven't witnessed; it's when she wraps up a portrait reveal session. Daphne will be in tears because her client was thrilled/in tears with their portrait / artwork as they truly saw how beautiful they are. That is when I see success as her heart's love tank is flowing over, with tears and she is dead center of her God giving talents. To me, her success of capturing a person's soul is validated thru those tears and especially when the Professional Photographers of America judges agreed and awarded her 3 merits for her artwork. Just outstanding and that Masters Degree is coming baby!

To my wife: You're not just the woman of my dreams; you're the superhero of our reality. Thank you for being my partner in crime, my confidante, and the one who makes this crazy ride called life so much more fun. Here's to more laughter, more Jeep adventures, UFC fights, rockin' on the porch, and a lifetime of love. Love you so much my beautiful bride.

Hey y'all! Daphne here with an Artist Spotlight - Von Hot Rod has been across the aisle from us at World of Wheels. It has, not only been a pleasure, it's been a blessing to watch him work this weekend. There's still time to come visit the Shreveport Convention Center and see all the amazing vehicles and enjoy some great conversations. Von is the epitome of what it means to belong to this family. A common love, shared stories and an appreciation of life in a similar way.
It's been a great show! Seeing friends we haven't seen in a year. Watching those around us catch up for the 10th, 20th or 30th event of the year; the fellowship is real. We love what Sheveport World Of Wheels does for this community.
