We’ve done life together since we were kids, so getting to stand behind the camera and capture this moment for you means more than I can put into words.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing you through so many seasons of life, and today, I simply want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you. I know a graduation photo can only capture one moment, but behind this moment is everything it took for you to get here—and you did it.

Thank you for trusting me to capture this chapter. It’s an honor to be your photographer, but an even greater honor to call you my friend.

Generations matter. 🤍

There is something so special about having three generations together in front of my camera. These sessions are always some of my favorites because of how intentional they are. It’s more than getting everyone together for a beautiful picture—it’s documenting your family’s story.

One day, these pictures will mean even more than they do today. They’ll become part of the story you pass down to the next generation.

So get everyone together. Take the picture. Capture what your family looks like right now. Because generations matter, and these moments deserve to be remembered.

For the last year, I’ve been intentional about updating my headshots to look and feel more like me. Not the standard “professional” version of me. Not who I think I’m supposed to look like in a headshot. Just… me. And that has required me to step outside of my comfort zone.

This last year has taught me a lot about simply being who I am, as I am, right now. There are still things I want to change and areas where I want to grow, but learning to accept who I am today has changed the way I show up every day.

So yes, I’m the photographer AND the subject today. 😂📸 And I want to encourage you to take the picture. Update the headshot. Wear something that feels like YOU. Try the idea that feels a little outside of the box. Do something that scares you. And if you’ve spent a lot of time comfortably standing in the background, maybe it’s time to step into the light.

You don’t have to wait until you change something about yourself to deserve to be photographed. Show up as you are. Right now.

Another year around the sun deserves to be celebrated! 🎉☀️

One of the things I’m most grateful for as a photographer is getting to celebrate these moments alongside my clients. Birthdays are a reminder that another year of life, growth, memories, and becoming is worth documenting.

I don’t take it lightly when you choose Figaro Photography to capture another chapter of your story. There are so many photographers you could trust with these moments, and I’m always grateful when you choose me.

As you step into this next chapter, I hope you know just how amazing you already are. You don’t have to wait for the next accomplishment, the next degree, the next opportunity, or the next big moment to prove it.

You are already worthy of being celebrated.

I am so incredibly proud of you, and I’m grateful that you trusted me to capture this moment. I hope when you look back at these pictures, you remember not only what you accomplished, but the woman you were when you accomplished it.

Now go be great. Go take up space. Go make your mark. And know that I’ll be over here cheering one of my girls on every step of the way.

Year after year, milestone after milestone, you continue to trust me to capture these moments—and that is something I will never take for granted.

And THIS birthday spotlight session?! Baby… she did THAT! 👏🏽✨

I absolutely loved everything about this one. The confidence. The personality. The spotlight. She stepped in front of that camera and gave me EVERYTHING I needed!

There’s something pretty amazing about someone you once walked the halls of high school with trusting you years later to capture a milestone like this.

There’s nothing like a good tickle session to give you some of the sweetest candid photos. 😂🤍

The giggles. The belly laughs. Those are the moments I love capturing most.

Because one day, they’ll be too big to scoop up and tickle like this. And somehow, these ordinary little moments become the ones we wish we could go back and experience just one more time.

That’s why we take the pictures.

From the theme to the setup to bringing her very own big wheel to the “starting line,” every little detail helped us turn this birthday vision into something special.
