Newborn Photographer Position Available:

I am currently accepting resumés for a newborn photographer to help at The Women's Hospital. The position is for 1 week day a week and 1-2 Saturdays a month. Hours vary, but roughly 6-12 hours a week. The photographer will also help fill in for vacations. Equipment is provided and extensive on the job training. The position is a subcontracted position and requires the photographer to carry their own liability insurance, pass a 10 panel drug screen, background check, and other requirements to comply with Deaconess regulations. The photographer will receive a 1099 for tax purposes.

It has taken me some time to get the business side of photography back up and running since the fire. All orders that were placed BEFORE September 15th, should have already arrived. Any orders from September 15- September 30th should be shipping this week. I also have October orders to ship this week but not sure specific dates yet! We just got internet on October 7th so that did not help in my productivity. I am hoping that after this week, orders will start being delivered in a more reasonable timeline! Thank you all for your patience during this those process. The fire has definitely caused more delays than I had originally anticipated, but babysteps to catching up!

Update: Hey everyone. I am sorry to say I have yet to get anything done business wise except phone calls and emails. I hope to have a functional office space soon so I can get at least digital orders processed!

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Original: Many of you may know that I lost my home in a fire yesterday. My home office was also a total loss. My husband, 2 kids and I were not home at the time and are therefore ok physically. We have felt an overwhelming wonderful outpouring of how incredibly awesome people can be which has been refreshing during this tragedy in our lives.

That being said, the business owner in me wants to be sure and let my clients know that it looks like my hard drives were protected by the fireproof safe I stored them in which was a huge relief. I am working to get them moved to hard drives and/or the cloud that were not in the fire.

Please note if you have placed an order in the last 2 weeks, your order will be delayed as all of my packaging materials were in my home office. Digital orders that have not been sent already may also be delayed as I try to juggle the normal things in day to day life with this loss added to the mix.

Feel free to reach out with any questions, but please know it may take me a little longer than usual to answer those as well.

This sweet girl was perfect for her Simply Baby Mini Session! These are my favorite sessions to do in the studio as they focus on baby and not overwhelming baby with multiple outfit changes and poses.
