I live laugh love direct sun. It’s part of my story telling. And such a beautiful time for portraits. And if you ask my honest option I’d take direct sun for portraits over sunset any day ❤️🌞

There’s a moment in the reception when the dance floor opens and it’s time to separate the serious from the fun. A moment for two communities irrupt into celebration. And it truly is a beautiful moment!

as a photographer, I’m always looking to see what my couple are up to, but I’m always vigilant to watch for what’s going on in between guests and small side quests that happened on the side.

POV: you just received your wedding gallery and you’ve got no idea what to post first.

Honestly I feel your pain. There are so many moments captured throughout your day. So here is my attempt to help you organize your posts!

Post 1: you and your partner! Pick your favorite portraits, first kiss, first dance, and a mix of intimate moments throughout the day! And of course share what feels right!

Post 2: Wedding party! Mix in your wedding party, speeches, and more tender moments.

Post 3: ceremony! All the moments. Walking down the aisle, tears, laughs, and ya repost that first kiss!

Post 4: Guests! Share so cutie moments from your cocktail hour, hugs, group photos!

Post 5: the fu***ng dance floor! You and I both know those photos are always iconic and so much fun! And tag your DJ!!

Post 6: hit them with those details! Highlight your florist, planner, bar, catering!

Post 7: literally whatever you won’t!

Truthfully there’s to rhyme or reason to posting your wedding. Post anything or nothing at all ❤️ it’s your day do what you want 💁🏻‍♀️

I’m not even sure if I am fully able to express how this photo made me feel. I truly felt the love that Can has for Abby through this photo. If I could imagine for just a moment, I imagine his thoughts are something like “finally she’s my wife.” this is such a beautiful moment. I’m grateful that I was able to capture it. I hope everyone who looks at this photo is able to see how much love they have for each other.

Jade + Amy 💍 A day rooted in heart and intention. Jade made her dress. Yes, from the bottom up, all from her own hands. And it was stunning. The vows that were publicly shared in front of their closet family and friends. They shared things that brought tears to my eyes. Things like not ever knowing if it were to be possible to be married. I’m deeply honored to have been a part of this day. To have witnessed their marriage, captured their connection, and froze moments in time.

Tarik reached out wanting proposal coverage for a private proposal at the Highlander rooftop bar at Hotel Renegade. He had told Grace that they were heading to a networking event. When they arrived, and entered into the elevator, he gave her a letter of all the reasons why he wanted to marry her. Once they arrived at the rooftop, Grace was greeted with flowers and the most beautiful diamond ring from the The Diamond Girls. To say that she was shocked is a true understatement!

Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your proposal! I absolutely loved it. After some of the shock of the proposal was over we finished up with a session that let us downtown Boise, then back up to the rooftop.

If you’re thinking of proposing to your partner, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
