The biggest requirements for fun family photos is simple … slow down & relax!!

I know that family photo day can feel overwhelming. Especially if you’re used to mini sessions where you have a finite number of seconds to make everyone smile for that perfect everyone-looking-at-the-camera shot.

Let’s take some time to let your kids be kids, for you to relax and play with them, and to let them cuddle.

Your family photos should be fun, relaxed, and truly reflect who your family is in this moment.

That is why I’ve always done things differently. For 20 years, I’ve been serving the families I photograph in a better way than the usual.

Happy Mother’s Day! This is my mom. ❤️

She taught me to love fiercely, to not get old, and how to be a great mom. She’s a silly worry wart who dances around the house, walks around with water in her mouth after getting a drink, and air dries her hair by flipping her head up and down 😂

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! I hope you all get lots of hugs from your kids ❤️

I always say that it doesn’t take perfection to capture the perfect moment!

Kids are unpredictable and I love that about them. It makes sessions fun and lighthearted.

But, sometimes the perfect moment doesn’t happen in just one frame. 😂

With vision and a whole lot of skill at the computer, I can still make that perfect moment.
