First day of cooler weather and I’m already ready for summer again🤭

The end of family photography busy season is finally in sight for me! Only a handful of sessions left before things slow back down, and I find myself wanting to cuddle up under a cozy blanket and do lazy, autumnal things. I do have a bit of November availability, though, if anyone has yet to schedule their photos😘

Really soaking in the last lingering days of summer before the autumn chill sets in in earnest☀️ Especially with Mr. S working weekend nights, H and I spend so much time outside on the weekends so the house stays quiet. Any ideas for quiet indoor activities or places a kindergartener and mom can hang out are welcome🙈

Just realized I never put these on my feed! Enjoy:)

The past 3.5 months have only proven how miraculous and life-changing it has been to have my sweetheart by my side💗 I still struggle against some demons from my past, but having the kindness and warmth and reassurance that I never really felt like I deserved has been such a beautiful and healing experience. I never imagined that love could be THIS patient, or THIS kind, and every day, I am in awe that my life is so filled with joy and redemptive happiness. 💗

Of course our absolutely magical elopement photos were taken by Hannah Mann , and the bouquet of my dreams was by Boise Wedding Florist 💗

Summer has my heart💗

It’s hard to believe we are in the final few weeks of summer—and what a beautiful summer it has been🩷

Life can be chaotic and challenging and even a little scary at times, and it’s sessions like these that always remind me of what matters most. How sweet, and special, and magical it is to live in a world where love and play and light exists☀️

Can’t believe we are already starting to celebrate the class of 2027🥳🎉🎊

Genuinely, my best advice for every high school parent is to plan to get those senior photos done the summer or autumn before your kiddo graduates. The school year gets SO busy, and here in Idaho, the scenery doesn’t really start coming back to life until around graduation time, and it’s just better both for the photos and for your calendar if you can get those scheduled and taken care of before we lose the beautiful colors of summer and autumn.

Coincidentally, I still have some autumn availability, and would LOVE to capture some more dreamy senior photos like these😘 DM me to get on my calendar💕

One of my favorite things about photographing families—especially with little kiddos!—is how much personality is packed into their tiny little bodies. They are so unique and special and I LOVE capturing moments that showcase who they are, right now, as they continue to learn and grow🥹

Forever grateful to have the ability to capture these moments for my clients, and also for myself💗 Hard to believe my sweet little girl is an elementary schooler!!! It’s been Momma and Hazel for so long, I’m filled the the brim with all kinds of emotions but above all, I’m so grateful for the confident, kind girl she is becoming, and I’m so excited for the adventures she has ahead of her💕
