Speaking of elopements… I have SO many of them this year and I am so stoked to spend the day with all of my gorgeous couples. 🥹🤍 There’s something so special about stripping away the packed timeline and just spending the day with your favorite human, actually soaking in the fact that YOU JUST GOT MARRIED. And selfishly as a photographer… I loveeee having the extra time. 😂 We can wander around, explore, chase pretty light, stop somewhere just because it looks cool, and create photos we sometimes just don’t have the time for during a packed wedding-day timeline.

That doesn’t mean one is better than the other! Weddings are incredible for an entirely different reason. You get this huge celebration surrounded by your family and friends, everyone you love is in one place, and there’s an energy to a full wedding day that’s hard to beat.

Elopements are just their own kind of magic.

So if you’re planning your day and trying to decide between the two, talk about what actually sounds like the best day to BOTH of you. Not what you’re “supposed” to do, not what everyone else expects, what would make the two of you happiest?

Do your thing.

(And then hire me either way lmao 😂📸)

Throw out a tradition that doesn't feel like you and replace it with something that does. Have FUN planning your wedding! At the end of the day, you're celebrating the two of you getting married, so fill the day with things you actually love and that feel like you. And yes, if one of those things happens to be an insanely cool vintage car... please bring it. I will happily photograph the hell out of it. 😂

Also, on a completely separate note... YOU GUYS HAVE BOOKED ME OUTTT. 😭🤍
Starting this weekend, I am officially booked every single weekend until about mid-November, with sessions sprinkled throughout the weekdays too. I am seriously so grateful for every couple, family, and person who has trusted me to capture parts of your life!

Shoutout to busy season. My cameras are ready. My editing queue is scared. LET'S DO THIS THING. 📸

Karlee and Nick absolutely owned their wedding day. They were up for anything, trusted the process, and it shows in every single portrait. Seriously... just look at them. 🔥

One thing I'll never stop encouraging my couples to do is sneak away for just a few minutes during sunset. I know the last thing you want to do is leave the dance floor, but those 10 minutes give us so much gorgeous, dreamy light😍

I also have to give a huge shoutout to the vendor team that brought this day together. Everyone was genuinely there to support one another and make sure Karlee and Nick had the best day possible!

I don't think Rachel and Mike could've picked a better third wheel. 🐶😂

Their pup, Carlton, absolutely understood the assignment and was the star of the entire session. I swear he knew exactly when the camera was on him. Between chasing him around, laughing the whole time, and getting to see how genuinely happy these two are together, this session was just so much fun.

Sessions like this are exactly why I love engagement photos. It's such a relaxed way to hang out, get to know each other before the wedding, and capture your personalities without the timeline of a wedding day.

And honestly... it's getting me so excited for all of my 2027 weddings already. 🥹

Some wedding days just leave you with the biggest smile, and Stephanie & Carl's was absolutely one of them. 🤍 From the moment the day began, it was so clear what mattered most to these two. Every part of their wedding centered around spending genuine, meaningful time with the people they love most.

And as if the day wasn't already beautiful enough, we lucked out with the most gorgeous Japanese cherry blossoms in bloom. 🌸 I swear every single year I tell myself I'm going to make time to shoot during cherry blossom season... and somehow it always comes and goes before I do.

Emily & David’s wedding at Gramercy Mansion was such a special day. 🤍

It always feels magical photographing at Gramercy Mansion, it’s a stunning venue all on its own, but this wedding carried even deeper meaning since Emily’s mom was married there too.

These two are so deeply loved, and it was beautiful to see how involved and supportive their family was throughout the day. And Emily and David? Completely connected from start to finish. The way they looked at each other made it so clear, they’re a true definition of soulmates. ✨

Morgan & Matt's wedding at Swan Harbor Farm was everything🤍

When I met them last year for their engagement session, we clicked instantly. And of course, their wedding day turned out absolutely gorgeous. We were blessed with beautiful weather, stunning views, and the sweetest group of family and friends celebrating alongside them. Every moment felt filled with joy, laughter, and so much love.

Absolutely obsessing over 😍 Loved working with these two at the Shine workshop, not only are they both stunning, but they made each session to much fun, with lots of laughs from everyone!

Pop that champagne! 🍾

Guys, I've been MIA for the last week but for a good reason... I traveled to the UK to attend a photography workshop hosted by the , and ! And I am not joking when I say that it's been seriously life changing. 🥹 Not only did I learn some new flash techniques, but I was so lucky to work side by side with some incredible photographers. And of course, lets not forget the models .hughes_ and are so freaking talented and killed it every single day!😍

I'll be posting so much more content from this workshop, and I cannot wait to apply this new knowledge to all my upcoming weddings✨

More elopements please!! Can we talk about Natalie & Lee's gorgeous elopement?! They were down for anything and we were able to create so many fun pictures (and memories!). The day of their elopement, ended up being the hottest day yet this spring, and these two were absolutely troopers!
