A select few have been privy to the huge recent upheavals and big life decisions Jessica and I have been working through the last few weeks and months. For now though, one of the bigger ones has finally come to light:

I am proud to say that I have accepted an offer and beginning in March, I will be starting my new role as the new Executive Director at New Day Wellness & Recovery Center!
•
It is a huge career move with tons of potential and I am incredibly excited to get to work, improve and expand the programs offered and help the local community attain a better overall quality of life.

This weekend marks the end of my first quarter at . I'm ecstatic, relieved, tired and excited for the future.

While it wasn't easy at all juggling two jobs and school with a family, I owe it all to Jessica & the kids for being amazingly supportive and understanding during the last few months. I wouldn't be here without you guys and I love you all the more for it.
•
Doing well does feel great, but I want grades to fall where they may and to no longer take them too seriously. It's a daily challenge, but one I'm keen to work on. Instead, I'm  working on concentrating on learning as much as I can, growing as a counselor, and building the foundation for my new career and years to come.
•

Progress thus far: replaced hands, which was just as time-consuming and tedious as you’d think.

The crystal is NOT in as I wait for a new gasket, and the bezel is just laid in for show purposes as I still have to get contact cement to install.
