Along the Ohio River where it meets the Beaver River lies the beautiful Rochester Riverfront Park. A park that honors our military, our local fireman, and the history of the area. A park framed by many bridges and the river. What park would you like to see next?

On such a hot day in Western PA it seems like a good idea to revisit this reel. I created this using photographs I captured periodically as I walked through the chilly remains of the Brady's Tunnel this Spring. The 2,467 foot tunnel was constructed to bypass the dangerous section of Allegheny Valley Railroad track along the Brady's Bend section of the Allegheny River. It saved 5.36 miles of the original route. There is also a turntable and an old coaling tower nearby on the Armstrong Trail that you can still view.
