Miss Weslie is almost 2!

I am working so hard to get caught up on galleries. Once I get behind just a little it's somewhat of a snowball effect, but the next few days I am going to be working my butt off to get them out!

Fun in the water, the best way to document a family on a hot day.
This family came to the area from out of state and it was so much fun to photograph them just having fun and playing. When families choose me out of the amazing pool of talent in this area, it's always an honor.

My August is officially fully booked for family and other evening sessions-milestone & newborns are booked during the daytime so I can usually find time to squeeze them in-and ya'll know I never turn away a baby. ;)

If you are wanting to book a fall family, senior or maternity session please do not wait. My schedule gets so full so fast, especially with football season coming up and some fall out of state hiking trips I have planned for my local women's hiking group.

Click the link below to book your session, or DM me with any and all questions!

Oregon strikes again.

The evening before this session, the coast was glowing. Golden light spilled across the sand, the ocean shimmered, and the sunset felt almost too perfect. I left thinking I knew exactly what the next night would look like.

Oregon had other plans.

I arrived early to wander, take a few self-portraits, and photograph the landscape when the fog quietly rolled in. The cliffs disappeared. The horizon dissolved. Everything softened beneath a veil of mist.

At first, I mourned the sunset I thought we’d lost.

Then this family stepped onto the beach, and I realized we hadn’t lost anything at all.

The fog didn’t hide the beauty—it became it. Every frame felt still, intimate, and timeless, as if the coast itself had slowed down to make space for this fleeting season of their lives. The mist wrapped around them, drawing every embrace, every tiny hand, and every quiet glance into something that felt almost suspended in time.

Maybe that’s what I love most about Oregon. It never gives me what I expect, but it always gives me exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

I’ll keep coming back, because every time I leave, this place takes another piece of my heart with it.

I only take on a handful of extended family sessions each year... mostly because that many personalities in one place is always guaranteed to be an adventure.

But when your best friend asks? That's an easy yes.

We showed up and it immediately started sprinkling. With family coming in from out of town, though, there wasn't really an option to reschedule, so we rolled with it. By the end, the humidity was absolutely relentless (my face could confirm), and the second we all climbed into our cars, the skies completely opened up. It was raining so hard on the drive home I could barely see the road.

Somehow, we beat the storm, had a blast, and checked "family photos" off the list. I'd call that a win.

The sneakiest peak of this incredible Oregon coast session that I had the absolute HONOR to do. Having a hard time waiting to share/edit the rest, but I have about 10 other sessions (equally as special) to finish first. So had to share one really quick to taunt. Where should I go next?? (Other than back to this exact place that will forever have a piece of my heart)

A little expectation vs reality when a toddler is involved, funny enough, I love the 'reality' photo just as much.

Kaya, class of 2027.

It's that time of year again where I get to reflect on the fact that high schoolers are so much cooler that I was for my senior session. I mean, how stunning is she?!
