To say Oregon is still constantly on my mind is an understatement. How many dates have I searched flights for you ask? You don't want to know. Going somewhere epic on vacation this summer/fall and want to do family photos while you're there? I'll meet you there! (and I'm not joking) But in all reality, we can create this kind of magic right here, wherever you are. Documenting your family as they are, whatever that may look like. This year is going to be the best yet, I just know it.

Shooting on the stunning Oregon coast was already a dream, but getting to create alongside the incredibly talented and other amazing photographers made it even more special. Honestly, I would’ve been happy just taking it all in—but having the chance to shoot there too felt surreal.

What I love most is that you can place 10 photographers in front of the exact same scene, and every gallery will still tell a different story. That’s the magic of this work. It’s also what makes it so personal and, at times, emotionally heavy.

This past weekend pushed me to really reflect on why I do this and helped me reconnect with a voice I think I’d buried for a long time. The future of TMP feels bright. Evolving something I’ve built over the last 15 years hasn’t been easy, even knowing deep down it’s exactly where I’m meant to go.

Less fake smiles. Less forcing moments that don’t feel true. More honesty, more emotion, more documenting life exactly as it is.

Oregon, so so so good. I'm starting backwards on my last days which were spent in a Yurt for 2 nights in the Ashland area, tucked away up in the mountains on over 150 acres of beautiful rolling hills, free range farm animals and stunning trees. Chilly nights meant I got to play 1900's homesteader and keep myself warm with a wood burning stove (which I didn't do a good job of the first night and woke up to a freezing yurt. Claw foot tub, surrounded by grazing deer that came right up to my door, and woken by the sound of the free range donkeys and a sassy goose. I wouldn't trade these rustic stays for any 5 star hotel. If it's a house or hotel, I don't want it! Adventure over comfort any day-although I sleep so much better in freezing tents with the fire going anyway.
Best part about this place is the dreams and visions I got to hear for the future of the ranch straight from the ranch hand himself. So excited to see what takes place here, and I know I will be back one day. To follow along, check out Bucket List Adventures NW

Say hello to baby Hazel!

Hazel came in for a mini newborn, one of my favorite sessions. The perfect way to get a beautiful gallery of your little one before they change too much. It's never too late to book your newborn session, but it is best to document them when they are under 3 weeks if you want those sleepy, curly poses. But of course we can photograph anyone ages 0-100. I'll never stress anyone into booking a newborn session, you have enough going on growing a human.

The annual Motherhood minis are coming up in just a few weeks, I still have some openings if you are wanting to grab a spot! Dates are May 1, 2 & 3. $250 total with a $50 deposit required to book your spot. Sessions are 20 minutes each and all take place at the beautiful Sandstone Rustic Retreat in Wisconsin Dells.

Don't be alarmed, but I photographed a wedding! Well, an elopement, but a wedding nonetheless. I swore off weddings years ago for a number of reasons, but when this bride reached out and told me they were eloping at Sandstone Rustic Retreat there was no way I wasn't going to document this.

If you are looking for a stunning location in the Wisconsin Dells area for your event, look no further than Sandstone. The beautiful deck overlooking the canyon below, surrounding by trees and forest. Not to mention the owners are as excited about your day as your are. I couldn't recommend this enough.

Also, I may not be up for shooting 12 hour huge weddings with 500 guests quite yet. But if you are looking for someone to quietly document your day, to be your cheerleader while also giving you a beautiful gallery of your day, I'm your girl. Especially in epic locations like this, or hopping on a plane somewhere. I'm your girl!
