You created a business where people come first, and genuine human connection matters. So having images that reflect your investment, experience, and soul isn't just a nice addition—it's essential. Especially in a world that constantly tells us to move faster and automate more.

Working with Cait from Halo Head Spa in downtown Bangor has been such a pleasure. The experience she's built is about so much more than a service. It's about creating a space where people can slow down, breathe, and give something back to themselves.

That's why onsite brand photography matters. Images of you, in your space, doing the work you love, tell a story that stock photos and AI-generated content simply can't. They show your clients that you care enough to be present, to be real, and to invite them into the experience before they ever walk through the door.

Because at the end of the day, people don't connect with perfect.
They connect with people. 🤍✨

Time and time again, I have people sit down in front of my camera and immediately say:

“I’m awkward.”“I don’t know what to do with my hands.”“I’m not good at photos.”

And this happens all before the camera is even turned on.

What people don’t realize is that being “good in front of the camera” usually has very little to do with them and a lot to do with whether the photographer knows how to guide them.

That’s a huge part of what I do.

I’m watching the lighting, the angles, the posture, the energy, the tiny details… while also helping people loosen up enough to stop performing and just settle into themselves a bit more naturally.

The goal is never to make someone look overly posed or like a completely different person. I start with inspiration poses that feel empowering, and then we naturally flow from that pose. That’s why mood boards are a great visual tool on set.

It’s helping people feel comfortable enough that their actual personality starts coming through in the images.

That’s where the magic is.

One thing AI will never able to do, is capturing a family at their core, the real love, energy and authentic connection. Because what matters, more than perfection, are the beautiful imperfections that make us REAL. The little wrinkles in corner of someones smile, or the freckles on their face. This was written from the heart, not by AI, just like these photos.

Thank you for following and supporting the art of honest story telling, and real moments being captured.

I’m hosting a Valentine’s Day Paint Your Person & Sip at Chimera Coffee in downtown Bangor on Saturday, February 14th, and it’s going to be such a fun, cozy, feel-good way to spend the day.

Whether you’re coming with a friend, or a partner, this night is all about slowing down, getting a little artsy, and enjoying good vibes in one of my favorite local spots. ✨

No painting experience needed—promise. This is very much a come as you are, sip your drink, play with color, and have fun kind of event. I’ll be there as an art guide (if needed), and Chimera will keep the coffee (and cozy atmosphere) flowing.
