Happy May! Spring feels like it's finally here in Maine and I'm giddy about it. ☀️ I am thrilled to share that summer and fall booking for sunset sessions (July-October) opens next week on Tuesday May 5th! I'll link my newsletter sign-up below in the comments if you'd like a notification sent directly to your inbox once booking is open so you can snag a session spot with me this year. Sessions are limited to 1-2 per week this year, and once I’m booked, I'll move to a waitlist. Also, if you’re a newsletter subscriber that has booked a session with me in the last two years, get excited because you get early access to booking. :)

Booking for studio sessions of all kinds are open now through October, too, as those sessions take place in the mornings. My books for all session types are closed for May and June this year.

Can't wait to soak up some sunsets this summer and fall with you all! 🫶🏻

New year, new life, and the tiniest details that become the most treasured.

Winter is my favorite because there's something about the season that invites us to slow down, and newborn sessions are no different. Every studio newborn session is completely baby-led with plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and settling.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! ✨

As I wrap up another year with DBP, I’ve been spending a lot of time reflecting on the moments, connections, and quiet in-betweens that made last year what it was. In many ways, it felt both gentle and full, a year of meaningful sessions and (mostly) intentional pacing. The ever-evolving balance of motherhood and entrepreneurship is still just that, ever evolving, but I feel more grounded in my “why” than ever before. Being present with my own little one has deepened the care and intention I bring into every session, and it’s truly a privilege I never take lightly.

The studio continued to grow into a space that feels like home for the business. I’m still dreaming and planning ways to make it feel exactly as I imagine it — more welcoming, functional, and inspiring. In the meantime, I’ve loved having the space to watch busy toddlers roam free, capture bigger families together, and still snuggle your teeniest new additions. Time really is SO fleeting, and having the opportunity to preserve some of these moments and memories for you is always an honor.

Thank you to my wonderful clients for your continued trust, your flexibility, your patience, and your kindness. Thank you for letting me respond to your emails at midnight. 😆 Thank you for showing up authentically, for letting things be imperfect, and for allowing me to document your stories exactly as they are. Your families are the heart of this business, and I’m endlessly grateful that you continue to invite me back into your lives year after year!

I’m excited to keep growing this community this year by welcoming more babies and families into the studio, chasing more glowy sunsets with you all, and documenting the beautifully ordinary moments that make life so meaningful. Thank you for being here and for supporting this business in ways both big and small. Leaving you with a small glimpse of only some of the beautiful people I got to hang out with over the last year. Booking for all 2025 Holiday Mini Sessions is LIVE and we're going to have the hap-hap-happiest time!!!

🌲 Tree Farm Holiday Mini Dates: Saturday November 8th OR Saturday November 15th
⚪ Studio Holiday Mini Date: Saturday November 22nd

- $225 plus tax
- 15 minute session
- Pick 5 digital images to download
- Images available one week after your session!

Please read all of the info in this link, especially the notes at the bottom *thoroughly* before booking! And let's not forget: STUDIO HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS! ⚪ These will also be releasing tomorrow at 8pm (or earlier if you are a newsletter subscriber!) alongside the tree farm Holiday Minis.

Studio Holiday Minis are one day only on Saturday, November 22nd. They will be $225 plus tax, include up to 15 minutes of session time and up to 6 immediate family members per session. You will get to pick your 5 favorite images to be digitally downloaded from an online gallery one week after your session, and a print release is included, with the option to buy them all. If you have more than 6 people in your immediate family or want a cousin/friend photo together, I recommend booking two back-to-back sessions.

The setup this year is simple but fun: all white, fluffy floating "snow", and a white seating option too. I love for studio minis to be simple and versatile so you can come wearing your matching holiday pajamas or fully decked out in fancy holiday outfits! This setup would be great for wearing light outerwear accessories like hats and mittens and scarves, too.

'Tis the season to let you know that 2025 TREE FARM HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS ARE HAPPENING SOON! 🌲🌲🌲

Here are all the details:

WHEN: Saturday November 8th (11/9 rain date) AND also Saturday November 15th (11/16 rain date)

WHAT: 15 minute session, pick your 5 favorite digital images to download, print release included, and photos delivered in one week! Yes, you can upgrade to purchase more than the included 5 photos.

WHERE: Piper Mountain Christmas Trees in Newburgh, Maine

WHO: Session includes up to 6 family members! Extended families or friends are encouraged to book back-to-back session slots if interested in a photo together. If your immediate family has more than 6 people, please message me before booking.

COST: $225 plus tax

I will be releasing the link to book these sessions tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, October 22nd at 8pm, so set your alarms as all spots are booked on a first come, first served basis and spots are limited. Full payment is collected upon booking. If you'd like a reminder for when they go live, comment below and I'll post in the thread once the link is live to notify you!
