Ashley & James day on film 🎞️

Getting to second shoot their day was such a joy! the people and all of the little moments between them that kept me reaching for my film camera. Full tables, quiet conversations, laughter, and everyone gathered together to celebrate Ashley & James.

Some wedding days remind you what it’s all about.🤍

The forecast kept changing, we prepared for bridge closures, and every backup plan was ready to go. But instead of worrying about the weather, the Graupners chose to embrace it. They stayed present, laughed through the rain, and trusted that their day would unfold exactly as it was meant to.

And it did.

From exchanging vows at Summerall Chapel, where Michael graduated from The Citadel, to celebrating at the Citadel Beach Club, every detail reflected who they are. They handwrote a note for every single guest, creating one of the most thoughtful receptions I’ve witnessed. And they ended the night exactly how they wanted an epic dance floor with everyone singing along to “Free Bird.”

Rain and all it was a beautiful day. 🤍
