Lately I’ve been reminded of something I believe deeply:

Photography is not a competition.

Different styles.
Different stories.
Different visions.

There is room for all of us —
the bold.
the soft.
the dramatic.
the dreamy.
the perfectly lit.
the intentionally imperfect.

One photographer’s eye doesn’t cancel out another’s.

What DOES hurt this industry is when people try to tear others down, instead of lifting them up.

I’ve been behind a camera since 2013.
I’ve grown.
I’ve evolved.
I’m still learning every single day…
just like every artist does.

And I’m PROUD of the work I create.
the families I capture.
the love stories I get to tell.
the moments that get frozen in time.

If you’re a photographer who’s ever felt small because someone tried to undermine your work, let this be your reminder:

Your style is YOUR superpower.
YOUR art is valid.
YOUR voice matters.
YOUR vision deserves to exist.

Keep creating.
Keep telling stories.
Keep showing up.
