Today I was asked if I was a therapist besides a Photographer. I was asked because I had a moment with my client reminding her of how amazing she was, starting from the inside. I spent a lot of this week doing more of that than I did clicking the shutter when they were actually in front of my lens.

The thing is, I think we all need to be reminded of the beauty we have. Accepting our own skin isn’t always easy, and as positive as I like to be, I can’t just say that to someone and then p**f, they feel it. It is the same for me. I take these self portraits as a reminder to myself, no matter what wrinkle forms, which eye is smaller, and how my look is aging, I need to love this skin I am in. I can’t turn back the time, but I certainly enjoy the time I have and open my soul to welcome each maturing day.

We can’t stop this train, we can hop on it, we can look ahead, and we can let the wind wisp through what hair we have.

Much love to you all today, tomorrow, and everyday moving forward.
