GLORIOUS. NEW ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: Throwing the most legendary wedding in the mountains.
G*ddammit, Donut… they actually pulled off the ultimate dream wedding.
Curating this recap gallery was nearly impossible because every single detail of this day felt straight out of a fantasy novel.
When two avid readers tied the knot, they turned their story into an absolute masterpiece. The bride blew everyone away with full Dungeon Crawler Carl (Matt Dinniman) energy — from gifting the groom a personalized Legendary Wedding Loot Box (swipe to read the note she included with it!) to having the officiant pepper actual “unlocked achievements” throughout the ceremony. They even cut their cake with a full-sized sword, topped with custom 3D-printed figures hand-painted by the groom’s best friend featuring the bride, groom, two cats riding their dog, and their two daughters riding a full-on velociraptor.
With the groom’s parents being librarians, bookish touches were woven into every corner: guests found their seats listed inside vintage novels, table numbers styled as library checkout cards, and personalized books awaiting each guest on their dinner plate with handwritten inscriptions and custom bookmarks.
The ceremony left zero dry eyes as rings were exchanged and custom bracelets were presented to the bride’s two daughters. Oh, and did we mention a hawk literally flew down the aisle to deliver the rings?
After a cocktail hour hanging out with a hawk, falcon, AND a barn owl, they traded a loud dance party for a cozy night of board games under custom blankets, ending the evening roasting s’mores and singing along to live guitar beneath a near-full Hunter’s Moon.
