Senior portraits, but with a more editorial feel.

Instead of sticking to a rigid formula, we just leaned into the textures of downtown Asheville - mixing historic stone arches, rich corduroy, and a random pop of color at some vintage newspaper boxes.

We even stumbled across a literal relic - an actual, surviving payphone. We had to stop and get a few frames there because honestly, how many of those are even left in existence?

A 100% chance of rain all week didn’t stand a chance against these two. The skies cleared up just in time for a perfect, dry ceremony at Timber Hall.

Aside from the fact that the rain miraculously held off, I am still completely obsessed with Kasidy’s style. She wanted a timeless, Jackie O-inspired look, and she absolutely nailed it - the classic pearls, the off-the-shoulder gown, the red lip... just effortless grace.

The main event!! 🖤🥂 I’ve been absolutely bursting at the seams waiting to share this gallery.

What I love most about this couple is how effortlessly they balanced the grand, classic elegance of the Biltmore with their own completely playful energy. Case in point: they literally played rock-paper-scissors at the altar to decide who had to read their vows first. ✌️✋ But right after the laughter, the waterworks started. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house - including them...and including me!

Am I going to do a whole post on just the wedding dogs? Why, yes. Yes, I am. 🐾✨ Because when your doodle is getting her hair and makeup done at The Restoration, the people deserve the full story!

Let’s talk about the ultimate fluffy superstars of the day: Hannah and Oscar!

Besides being a total diva in the getting-ready suite, Miss Hannah (the gorgeous white doodle) is actually the reason we were all here celebrating. She was the star of the ultimate meet-cute at a years ago. A little conversation started between the grooms, a bowl of water for Hannah was offered, and just like that, the universe put their forever after into motion. ☕️🌈❤️

And of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without Oscar, the dapper salt-and-pepper doodle. He wore his finest tuxedo collar and bow tie, brought his 10/10 smile, and completely stole my camera’s heart. Seeing both of them walk their dads down the aisle for a stunning ceremony at the Biltmore Estate was the absolute sweetest full-circle moment.

Proof that you don’t need sunset to get breathtaking photos.

We shot this engagement session between 10:30 and 11:30 AM - traditionally the start of a photographer’s trickiest time of day. High sun? Harsh shadows? Challenge accepted.

By finding the right pockets of shade, playing with the gorgeous rim light filtering through the trees, and letting these two just completely focus on each other, we ended up with a gallery that is radiant and incredibly timeless.

To all my future couples: don’t stress about the clock. We’re going to make magic happen no matter where the sun is in the sky.

Spending the afternoon at the with this botanical-loving senior felt less like a photo shoot and more like a scavenger hunt!

We spent her entire senior session “nerding out” over our shared love for plants - from the blooming rhododendrons to finding the perfect hidden garden corners. It’s not every day I get to talk shop about horticulture while chasing the golden hour light! (And can we talk about how perfectly her dress matched the vibe? )

This sweet senior is finishing up her time at and is officially bound this fall. Furman is getting an absolute gem!

Congratulations! I can’t wait to see you “keep blooming” in this next chapter.

From 80 degrees to 50 degrees overnight! But you’d never know how chilly it was by the way these two look. We had the most perfect, snuggly (and windy!) engagement session at the beautiful . The views were breathtaking, and their love was even more so. Congratulations, you two!
