Jared planned a thoughtful surprise proposal for Giulia at the Biltmore Estate and the joy on their faces afterward was everything.

Once she said yes, we spent some time wandering around the grounds. They were completely giddy in that just-engaged way, which made us feel so lucky that this is our job, getting to capture moments like this. The laughter came easily and the whole afternoon felt light and celebratory.

We are so excited for these two and loved getting to capture this moment for them. If this afternoon was any indication, the celebration ahead is going to be a joyful one.

The kind of day that made you forget it was winter in Chicago.
Ornate in every way with towering florals, gilded light, and a setting that whispered timeless romance. But the heart of it? Unmistakably real.
At one point, Charli snuck in a first look before she even put on her dress. Just to see him. Just to take a deep breath.
The way Zach steadied her with one hug… we’re still not over it. That moment wasn’t for the camera. It was for them. And that’s the kind of love we’ll never stop wanting to witness.
Later, when her dress felt too stiff to dance in, a friend (who happened to be a designer) stepped in and made the perfect cut so she could move, breathe, and be in the moment. A reminder that sometimes the best weddings are the ones where joy wins over perfection.

Winter weddings have quietly become some of my absolute favorites. They’re their own kind of magic.
There’s just something about them. The slower rhythm. The softer light. The way it draws everyone close. Those long, candlelit dinners get me every time.
