Most of my directing isn't directing, posing can be hard, and all of the time I am awkward. I will be just as awkward as you may feel. There will be a lot of "look up, look at me", but the rest is also poses and movements that feel good for you.

AND I love acknowledging this because it makes people chuckle, it loosens the tension because having a camera in your face is awkward. I just hope to ease some of that.

I sure am not natural in front of the camera, and behind it I am looking for the moments of lightness, where I notice that you are feeling more comfortable.

I want it to feel like a friend or someone you didn't just meet. I love to be welcomed into as just a part of your day and world for the time I get to know you.

Alex Tha Great's breathtaking poetry project "Don't Let The Sun Beat You Home" at . Alex beautifully shares the strength, beauty and resilience that black women all have through the pains and heartbreak of the health care system, childbirth, and the police state we live in.

This performance left me crying, laughing, and wanting to hug her, and give all the flowers to black women in this country.

Laughter and ease ✨️ David + Kayla's engagement session at the Biltmore was one for the books.

I don't have the chance to photograph at the Biltmore often, but when offered I can never pass it up. The conservatory will always leave be breathless

David and Kayla were so playful, up for any poses, while there were tourists coming in and out. A brave and fun love these two have ✨️
