True-to-color photography doesn’t mean every photo I take will look exactly the same.
I saw another photographer explain this and I thought it was sooooo important!
While my work will always have a consistent editing style, true-to-color means I want your photos to reflect the way your day actually looked and felt. The colors, lighting, and environment may change, but the goal stays the same: photos that feel true to the moment and the place you were in when it happened.
Photographers work with natural elements, so sometimes we’re basically meteorologists too 😂 Our job is to understand light, weather, and how they interact with your surroundings.
So when you fall in love with a photographer’s work, just know that your day will look like your day, not someone else’s, and that’s okay! The lighting might be different, the weather might be different, and your venue might look completely different. But that doesn’t mean your photos won’t be just as beautiful. In fact, that’s what makes them yours.🤍
