When visiting Assateague Island, remember-this is wildlife and this is dangerous. Those putting your young children on the ground in front of the ponies so you get a cute picture. This-This is why I politely informed you-You know they are wild and they kick and bite. Yeah-we know!? Please Stay 40 feet back and SLOW DOWN and enjoy them from afar. Featured is stallion Dewey-the only blue eyed pony on MD side. The other is A Flame for Coltie who is trying to win Dewey's mare Johnny's Star. 8-15-2026
