This weekend was full.

Full of creativity.
Full of connection.
Full of culture, community, style, movement, and moments worth remembering.

And now the next phase begins.

The event may be over, but the visual story is still being built.

This is the part people do not always see after a major event: the backing up, sorting, selecting, editing, organizing, refining, and preparing the images so the story can be shared with care.

Because intentional event photography does not end when the lights go down.

That is where the work continues.

The finished images from this weekend are coming soon, and I cannot wait to share what we captured.

Tomorrow is TEDxABQ!!! BCreative Studio is proud to be partnering with the New Mexico Fashion Council New Mexico Fashion Council for the event.

I’ll be there capturing the energy, style, movement, and moments throughout the day, so come find me at the step & repeat and at the end of the runway.

Three events. One extraordinary weekend. And thousands of moments that deserved to be remembered.

The beautiful part of event photography is that while everyone else is experiencing what is happening in front of them, I am constantly looking for the story unfolding underneath it.

The glance across the room.

The details someone spent months planning.

The pride.

The movement.

The people connecting.

The moments that disappear almost as quickly as they happen.

Photographing the Salad Bowl America Gala, Humankind Day Cultural Celebration, and Art Battle Albuquerque was about so much more than documenting an event.

It was about creating a visual record of creativity, culture, community, and human connection.

And now that the galleries are coming to life, we finally get to share some of what we witnessed.

This is why I believe great event photography should make you feel something even if you weren’t there.

WHEW. What. A. Weekend. 🔥📸

Three major events. An incredible community. SO much talent, energy, culture, connection and creativity packed into one epic weekend.

And now comes the part nobody really sees. 😂

Capturing the content is the fun part. Post production is where the REAL work begins.

If I’ve been a little radio silent this week, this is why. I have been hyper focused behind the scenes, sorting, culling, editing and building out these galleries so we can finally start sharing everything we created and captured.

Thousands of images. Three events. Countless moments. And soooo many stories waiting to be told.

But first… a little BTS of me doing my thing at the Humankind Day Gala. 📸

What an EPIC night! Seeing the room come alive, photographing the people who made it happen, and watching our young creatives be part of something this special was pretty damn incredible.

Now excuse me while I crawl back into my editing cave. 😂💻

This weekend, BCreative Studio is proud to be part of something meaningful.

Salad Bowl America is launching its premier edition with a full weekend of creativity, culture, community, and connection.

As the lead photographer and photography mentor for the project, this work is about more than images.

It is about helping tell the story of a community.

It is about supporting young creatives.

It is about documenting culture, artistry, collaboration, and the people behind it all.

This weekend includes the Humankind Day Gala, the Cultural Celebration, and the Art Battle, bringing together artists, businesses, community leaders, families, and creatives for a powerful launch weekend.

This is the kind of visual storytelling we believe in.

Intentional.
Human-centered.
