I wasn’t initially going to do a year-end round up this year - not for lack of content or cool couples - but because I have been utterly *tuckered out* after one of the most hectic past few months of my life.
However, as I started scrolling through some of my sneak peek galleries, I realized just how rad the year was. We worked with 70+ couples and families in 2025 - a new record for LRP! We shot weddings and sessions in 4 different states, with clients traveling from 7 different countries. I shot about 50 rolls of film!
On a personal note, I visited 8 national parks (3 new to me - Capitol Reef, Saguaro, and Acadia), 1 new country (Costa Rica), and got to celebrate turning 40 twice with so many of my closest friends.
I also got to see Blink-182 twice, took Elsie to see her favorite singer (Alex G), and went to When We Were Young with a couple of my besties.
We got to take big family vacations with both sides of our family, had a very scary bear encounter and narrowly avoided a run-in with a mountain lion (on different trips!), hiked in the dark on multiple occasions, photographed the Milky Way, and saw the Northern Lights.
Over the next couple days, I’ll post a mix of work and personal faves. It was a really good year, and it’s made me really happy to look back on it.
