I had the opportunity to spend a little time with some of the amazing committee members who work behind the scenes to make the Cattle Baron’s Ball happen each year.

An event like this doesn’t just come together overnight. It takes countless hours of planning, organizing, coordinating, fundraising and a whole lot of dedication from people who truly care about making a difference in our community.

While a few committee members weren’t able to make it for the portrait, their hard work and contributions are certainly not forgotten. Every person involved plays an important part in bringing this incredible event to life.

It was such a pleasure getting this group in front of the camera and recognizing some of the faces behind all that hard work!

Brock is officially 100 days old! It’s crazy how quickly time goes by and how much he has already grown. This sweet little boy has brightened all of our lives in so many ways, and we can never get enough of that precious smile. We love you so much, Brock, and we are thankful for every moment we get to share with you

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

If you know me, you know dogs hold a pretty special place in my heart. They’re more than pets. They’re family, best friends, constant companions, professional snack inspectors, and somehow always there when we need a little extra happiness.

Today seems like the perfect excuse to celebrate all those wet noses, wagging tails, goofy personalities, and unconditional love they bring into our lives.

And of course, as a photographer, I’m always going to say this: take the pictures. Whether it’s a professional portrait or just a quick snapshot on your phone, someday you’ll be incredibly thankful you have them.

Give your pups an extra treat, belly rub, or snuggle today. They’ve definitely earned it!

Today I got to something a little different!

Despite the fact that this was my first weekend off in a while, I still couldn’t resist picking up a camera... well, technically the drone.

I decided to spend a little time photographing one of Abilene’s familiar landmarks from a different perspective. The Enterprise building has been part of the skyline of this town for my entire life, and it’s one of those sights you almost take for granted because it has simply always been there.

There’s something pretty special about getting to photograph a piece of the place you call home and see it from an entirely new point of view.

Sometimes even a weekend off still involves photography, just for the fun of it.

Loved getting to spend a little more time at RLux for their Ballads & Brunch! Everyone was having a blast, and it definitely showed. Such a fun atmosphere and a great way to spend the day!

Whether your dog is a brand-new puppy or a little more distinguished, having beautiful portraits of them is so important. They’re such a big part of our lives, our families, and the happiness they bring into our homes.

Last week, Bear came to the studio with me, and during one of our breaks I couldn’t resist grabbing the camera and taking a few portraits of him. That smile brightens my day more than I can say, and I’m so glad I took a few minutes to capture it.

There’s something extra special about getting to photograph your own family.

Watching my daughter’s family blossom and grow has been such a blessing. I’m incredibly thankful that I not only get to share in these sweet moments with them, but that I also get the privilege of capturing them. These are the little pieces of life that pass by so quickly, and knowing they’ll have these photographs to look back on makes them even more meaningful to me.

I also have to give a little extra credit to my beautiful daughter, Nicole. I know how much thought, planning, and love she puts into making these moments happen, from the outfits to all the little details that bring everything together. I love seeing her vision come to life and getting to play a small part in preserving it.

Sessions like this remind me just how blessed I am to do what I do, especially when the people on the other side of my camera are the ones I love most.

Another Back to School Mini sneak peek!

Sisters Leilani and Analeah are ready for a new school year! One is starting her Kindergarten adventure while the other is kicking off 3rd grade.

I’m pretty sure these two are used to having their pictures taken because they absolutely rocked their session! So much personality, so many smiles, and definitely no shortage of confidence in front of the camera.

Wishing these sweet sisters an amazing year ahead!

Cousins Mathias and Jaden are both starting their Kindergarten adventure together! There were plenty of giggles, lots of silliness, and two big personalities that made their session so much fun.

I’ve loved getting to capture so many special moments for this amazing family, and it means so much to get to share in another precious milestone as these two start this exciting new chapter together!
