It’s one of the most common concerns I hear before a family photoshoot. The good news?
They don’t have to.

My sessions are relaxed and child-led, with plenty of play, cuddles and laughter along the way. Rather than expecting children to sit perfectly and smile on command, I focus on capturing genuine moments and natural connections. Big siblings can stay close, cuddle when they want to… and gently drift in and out when they need a break. No pressure, no rushing - just following their lead.

Everything feels that little bit calmer in your own space. Snacks within reach, favourite toys nearby, easy outfit changes… and time to pause whenever it’s needed.

It means we can capture moments like this - soft, natural, completely unforced. The kind that really reflect what these early days feel like.

And one day, it becomes even more special… remembering your baby exactly like this, in their very first home.
