💧 پھیالونگ واٹر ڈائیورژن منصوبہ — اتحاد کی ایک تاریخی فتح 💧

۹ اگست ۲۰۲۶ء بلتستان کی تاریخ کا ایک ایسا دن ہے جو یقیناً سنہری حروف میں لکھا جائے گا۔

آج پھیالونگ واٹر ڈائیورژن منصوبے کی تکمیل و افتتاح صرف ایک عوامی منصوبے کا افتتاح نہیں، بلکہ اتحادِ امت، اخلاص، ایثار، باہمی اعتماد اور خدمتِ خلق کی عظیم فتح ہے۔

یہ منصوبہ اس بات کا عملی ثبوت ہے کہ جب تمام مکاتبِ فکر کے علما، عوام، اہلِ خیر اور مخلص افراد ایک نیک مقصد کے لیے متحد ہو جائیں تو بڑے سے بڑا خواب بھی حقیقت بن سکتا ہے۔

اس عظیم کارنامے پر منصوبے کے بانی رہنما، صدر انجمنِ امامیہ بلتستان و نائب امامِ جمعہ و جماعت آغا باقر الحسینی، افتتاب کمیٹی کے تمام معزز اراکین، انجینیئرز، کارکنان اور ان تمام مخلص افراد کو دل کی گہرائیوں سے خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں جنہوں نے شب و روز محنت، وقت، صلاحیت اور وسائل اس عظیم مقصد کے لیے وقف کیے۔

خصوصی سلام اور خراجِ عقیدت بلتستان کے غیور عوام کے نام، جنہوں نے اپنی استطاعت کے مطابق چندہ دے کر اس منصوبے کو اپنا منصوبہ سمجھا اور اسے کامیاب بنانے میں تاریخ ساز کردار ادا کیا۔ ❤️

یہ صرف پانی نہیں، اتحاد کا ثمر ہے۔
یہ صرف ایک منصوبہ نہیں، آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ایک پیغام ہے۔
یہ پیغام کہ ہم متحد ہوں تو ہم بہت کچھ کر سکتے ہیں۔

آج کے بعد جب بھی آپ کے دسترخوان پر پانی کا گلاس آئے، تو ان تمام محسنین کو اپنی دعاؤں میں ضرور یاد کیجیے گا جنہوں نے اس پانی کو آپ کے گھروں تک پہنچانے کے لیے اپنا حصہ ڈالا۔ 🤲

یا اللہ! اس منصوبے میں حصہ لینے والے تمام افراد کو جزائے خیر عطا فرما، ان کے مال و جان میں برکت دے اور اس پانی کو بلتستان کے عوام کے لیے رحمت و برکت کا ذریعہ بنا۔

یا رب العالمین! امتِ مسلمہ کو اتحاد و اتفاق، محبت اور اخوت عطا فرما۔ ہمارے دلوں سے نفرتیں اور تعصبات دور فرما، ہمیں ایک دوسرے کا سہارا بننے کی توفیق عطا فرما اور اسلام کو سربلندی و عزت عطا فرما۔

گلگت بلتستان کو امن، اتحاد، ترقی اور خوشحالی کا گہوارہ بنا۔

A tourist was recently seen capturing and handling a wild golden marmot in Deosai, proudly sharing the video on social media. Shortly afterwards, a member of the Gilgit-Baltistan Photographers Association (GBPA) found the same marmot lying dead—right in front of a warning sign clearly stating “Do not feed or harm wild animals.”

This is not just the death of a single animal; it is a painful reminder of the consequences of irresponsible tourism. Deosai National Park is home to fragile wildlife that deserves our respect and protection—not exploitation for social media content.

As members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Photographers Association (GBPA) and as locals who deeply care for our natural heritage, we respectfully urge the Honourable Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, the Chief Secretary, the Minister for Tourism, the Secretary Tourism, the Wildlife Department, and the District Administration Baltistan to take strict legal action against the individual responsible.

Let this case become an example. Impose a substantial fine, prosecute the offender under the law, and ensure that such reckless behaviour is never repeated. Protecting our wildlife is a shared responsibility, and those who deliberately violate these laws must be held accountable.

Respect nature. Leave only footprints, not irreversible damage.

Another wake-up call from nature.

How many more warnings do we need before we act?

It is time to stop treating nature as an endless resource and start living in harmony with it. We must rethink uncontrolled urbanization and the rapid spread of concrete structures that replace forests, wetlands, and open land.

Gilgit-Baltistan is witnessing alarming glacier melt at an unprecedented rate. Summers are becoming abnormally hot, weather patterns are increasingly unpredictable, and the risk of floods, landslides, and water shortages continues to grow.

Development is important, but it must be sustainable. Every tree we protect, every eco-friendly decision we make, and every responsible construction project can help preserve this fragile mountain ecosystem.

The time to act is now. Respect nature before nature leaves us with no choice but to face the consequences.

There is still time—but not forever.
