I love camping in the winter, the days are shorter but the winter light is so insanely beautiful. Frosty mornings and clear nights, sitting around a fire drinking cups of tea. Snuggled up underneath a tonne of blankets to stay warm while you sleep. These are some of my favourite winter memories.

Spent the weekend dreaming of what it would be like to have our own little porch overlooking the mountains one day; one with old wicker chairs, wool blankets and a spot to place our coffee mugs. We’ll keep on dreaming till it comes true.

Also not sure how we keep timing these trips with perfect weather, but also snow, it’s one of life’s little magics and I’ll never take it for granted. It is so nice to see winter finally showing her face, the cold is so beautiful.

Colours of the coast and a quick trip home to Mangawhai.

I think in another life I would have loved to have stayed here. Spending my days surfing and hopping around the coastline. That was my life for a while before I moved south and it was so special going home to revisit these places and to see my family.

We also lived the life of luxury with the Range Rover Sport from Apolicar | Luxury 4WD SUV Car Rentals NZ , little bit different from the old Toyotas we’re used to driving around but it was a nice and incredibly comfy change for us. Thank you Apolicar | Luxury 4WD SUV Car Rentals NZ 🙌
