⚠️ Updated Information on Mini Shoot Packages

After plenty of thought, number crunching, and a few gentle nudges (you know who you are!🩶), I’ve finally decided how I’d like to rework my mini shoot packages going forward!

There were a few things that encouraged the change:

✨ More choice:
Not everyone is looking for the full Fine Art experience. I wanted to offer an option for those who simply want a handful of quick, beautiful, social-media-ready images, without the difficult task of choosing their favourites!

💰 Different price points:
I’ve been told more than once that I was charging too little for the time, quality and work that goes into each image. I want my pricing to better reflect that, while still offering options for different budgets.

📸 The reality of running a small business:
I was probably in denial about this little side hustle actually being a small business… But it is! 🫣 The price of a package also needs to cover things like tax, ACC levies, equipment, website costs and all those behind-the-scenes expenses. I’ve definitely been guilty of overlooking the value of my own time spent culling, editing, preparing galleries and everything in between.

It’s been a little scary putting myself out there 🫣, so I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has encouraged me, shared my posts, purchased photos, or simply cheered me on along the way. ❤️

It’s been so cool photographing all the different dogs and humans, and this little venture has helped me shape my photography style into the ever-evolving creature it is today!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience and support while I juggle editing for final gallery reveals and the remaining outstanding proof galleries that still need their culling and preliminary editing! I have been absolutely thrilled to see everyone loving their proof gallery images - it’s given all the warm, fuzzy vibes! 🥰💚

CHB and Whanganui event albums are still on my list of things to do, but they’ll be hitting FB once I’ve finished up with all remaining mini shoots. Your support does mean the world while I work through this busy stretch - so much for taking things easy while on our competition break! 🤪🤭

✨️Feilding JDT Benefit Show incoming ✨

Who am I catching up with this weekend at the JDT Benefit Show? 👋

CHB was a whirlwind with a dog in C and in A plus a fast, tidy show, it meant I was sprinting around like a headless chicken. 😮‍💨 The lighting didn’t quite inspire me either, but I still managed to snag some awesome JB moments and a handful of JC 500s. The proof gallery should finally be hitting my FB page next week as I wrap up my mini‑shoot backlog. 🙌🏻🎉

However, my goal for this weekend is definitely to snap a few more awesome action shots this weekend! 🤩

❗️A little reminder: for the next two weekends, I’ll have two new mini‑shoot packages available for anyone wanting portrait or action shots between runs or at the end of Saturday (bookings will be limited on Sunday as it’s quite a drive back to Auckland!).😅 These are also the final two weekends to grab my current Mini Shoot “Full Edit” packages at their existing pricing, perfect if you’re after some beautiful keepsake images.💚💛

🔥 New Intro Offer Packages:
🔸️ Express Package: 5 surprise express photos (I choose the best 5 photos; these do not undergo the full art edit) for $50.00
🔸️ Proof Express Package: 6 express photos (you choose your final images from the proof gallery; they do not undergo full art edit) for $70.00

🫟 Current Mini Shoot Packages:
🔹️ Bite Size Package: 3 full art edited photos (you choose your final images from the proof gallery) for $40.00
🔹️ Pivotal Paws Event package: 6 full art edited photos (you choose your final images from the proof gallery) for $65.00

For clarity: Proof Gallery is referring to the images that undergo preliminary editing in preparation for your "reveal" gallery from which you will choose your final photos from. This gallery will have watermarked images. Once you have chosen your final images, and upon completion of your edited gallery, the proof gallery will be removed from the website.

Feilding is such a stunning spot for photos: a rocky river for wet‑dog magic or classic scenic shots, and gorgeous trees and greenery for those dreamy natural backdrops.😍😍

✨️Introducing the Express and Proof Express Photo Packages! ✨️

During my upcoming agility break, I will be reshaping my photography packages so they better represent the time, detail, and artistry behind each photo. 🎨🖌 The goal is to offer a wider range of options to suit either the polished “fine art” look that could eventually end up on your wall at home, or a cleaner, natural social media ready style edit.

For now, I’m trialling 2 new options for those who want beautiful photos but without the full editing process.

💨 Express Package: 💨
The aim is for an improved turnaround for those who simply want cute photos for social media (for example) without undergoing full editing. These images will keep it simple and natural, while still allowing for small fixes (like removal of leashes). 👌🏻 To help get the better turnaround, there will be no preliminary proof gallery provided; instead, you will receive 5 “surprise” images that will be selected by me. 🙀✨️

☄️ Proof Express Package:☄️
If you would prefer to see and select your images, this package will include a proof gallery so that you can choose 6 images. It will offer the same clean, natural look as the photos from the Express package. It is expected to have a slightly longer turnaround time as culling and preliminary batch editing is performed during the proof gallery preparation. 💻

⚠️ Introductory Trial Offers - July Shows Only: ⚠️
From 01 September 2026, the Express Package will be $60.00 and the Proof Express Package will be $80.00. As part of an introductory trial, I will be offering these two new packages at a discounted price:
🔸️$50.00 for the Express Package
🔸️$70.00 for the Proof Express Package

These offers will only be available for the JDT Benefit Show (4-5 July 2026) and the Wanganui Show over Matariki Weekend (10 - 12 July 2026). ‼️

My current “full edit” mini shoot packages will still be available at both shows too before they receive their own revamp for September 2026 onwards. If you want to take advantage of the current “price for quality”, now is the time to book; just send me a message or grab me on the day/weekend. 🤗💛

🚗 CHB Bound This Weekend 🚗

Waipukurau is calling, so I’m heading to CHB this weekend with my Sony and dogs in tow. 🐾📸 I’m hoping to float around the JA, JB, and JC rings in between my runs (JC 500s and JA 500s) so that I can try capture a little bit of everything throughout the event; however, if you’d like any specific photos of your dog(s), please don’t hesitate to come say hi or grab me if you see me lurking with the camera around my neck! 👀 Weather all permitting of course! 🤞🏻☀️

🌟 I will also be available for mini shoots over the weekend! 🌟

Before we leave tomorrow (Friday):

Things have been a bit slower these past two months thanks to a very full on work schedule, but it is finally starting to ease up a bit as the UoA students hunker down into exam mode.

✨️🖥 Working Hard Behind the Scenes ✨️🖥

I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately but that’s because I’ve been trying to keep the editing flow alive behind the scenes while trying to stay on top of my day job work (student labs this week… yay🥴) and obviously paying the doggos attention and making sure they receive their quota of walks, cuddles, and training time. 🐾 My PC is also slowing down a bit so I’m having to do multiple restarts if I get stuck into prolonged periods of intensive editing…🙃 If anyone wants to give me a workhorse laptop for my birthday coming up soon, I’ll send you some links for the potentials! LOL! 😜🤪🤣

📝 Current Work load:
🔸️ Finishing off some mini shoot galleries (hoping to have all of these up to date and delivered within the next 1-2 weeks - I appreciate the patience🙏💛).
🔸️ Doing the basic post processing on the Napier/HB Jumpers Championship event photos (hoping to have these go live sometime this week if all goes according to plan).
