Introducing Queen Sankuet with that main character energy✨Naboisho Conservancy offers an ethical safari by limiting vehicles and human pressure; because of this, the leopards have grown unusually relaxed around safari vehicles, which allows you to get a front-row view of Mother Nature at work🐆💛🌍

A baby elephant’s trunk is one of its most fascinating — yet initially awkward — features! Despite its future importance, a baby elephant doesn’t quite know how to use it right away.

For the first few months, calves often trip over their trunks, swing them clumsily, or even step on them while trying to nurse or graze. Much like the little one in my photos they often “face dive” to eat food or drink water!
It takes time and practice before they can skillfully use it to breathe, grasp food, or spray water. By around 6 to 8 months old, they start mimicking others & learn to use this important vital tool of theirs!

100% of the profits from the sale of this calendar will be donated to an organization called Down To The Wire.

Down to the Wire strives to create awareness on a critical topic of poaching. One of the most ruling methods of this inhumane act is snaring. Down To The Wire addresses the snarking threat to the wildlife in South Africa.

Any animal affected by snaring, should not be left unaided, regardless of their size or endangered status. Anti-poaching units are doing their part by removing snare traps from wildlife areas. Once removed, these snares serve no other purpose. Their quest is to rework these snares into uniquely handcrafted bangles as a symbol of life.

Funds raised are made available to a select group of wildlife veterinarians - who have dedicated their lives to making a difference within wildlife conservation. The funds raised cover costs of treatment and rehabilitation of the animal caught in a snare.

Please visit their website in the comment section to learn more about this organization.

This Wildlife Calendar for 2024 displays a beautiful collection of photographs of wildlife in their natural habitat in Africa.
