I always find this angle of hornbills comical, whether it’s the alien appearance or the unmistakably judgy look - it always puts a smile on my face.

Spiders certainly aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but they can be fascinating to watch.

The Bark Spider (Caerostris sexcuspidata) is the perfect example of this - a closer look reveals ā€œhornsā€, ridges and colouration that help it blend perfectly into its environment - interestingly, individuals from different regions very to match the vegetation in their home regions.
