This morning, the sky put on show for those who made time to watch it, moments before the sun began to rise 🌅

Sat down today with to briefly discuss my trip to Mallorca for the recent Eclipse 🌙

13/08/2026

My attempt at the “Diamond Ring” at this years Total Solar Eclipse from El Toro in Mallorca 🇪🇸 Absolutely not as sharp as I would have liked but still a magical moment to witness in person with so many others. So many for the first time. For me, to see it so close to the horizon was so so special. Can’t wait for the next one in August 2027 🌙💍

The Sun & Moon set over the Mediterranean from El Toro Majorca 12.08.26 🌕☀️ What a beautiful moment in time ✨

Unfortunately my shots of the corona at totality and the diamond ring stage didn’t work out for me this year. I was doing my best to try to manage the live stream and the settings are so different from each stage with no time to spare between, diamond ring, baileys beads and totality. In 2024 I had no video as I accidentally hit the focus ring at totality, but had all the photos. This year I got the video but not the photos I wanted. Next year I’ll try again to capture everything 🙏
Massive thanks to all of you who support and enjoy my attempt yesterday. Hope you like this still of the Partial Eclipse Setting on the horizon.
