AMELIA + JACK | RUNA FARM

A lovely, chilled wedding day with cool Halloween vibes, beautiful decor and gorgeous flowers. The weather forecast looked pretty grim with the incoming storm, but thankfully it wasn’t bad at all and we were lucky enough to get outside for some photos, which was a bonus.

With beautiful piano music throughout the day and a great bunch of guests, it was such a pleasure to capture the wedding of a lovely couple. A relaxed, fun day with plenty of character and some lovely autumnal touches.

ELIZABETH + JACK | RUSHPOOL HALL

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Elizabeth and Jack’s wedding at the beautiful Rushpool Hall in Saltburn.

It was my first time shooting at this gorgeous venue, and what a place to make a first impression. An impressive historic building surrounded by stunning autumnal grounds, with the most amazing views out towards the sea.

We were treated to a wonderful day filled with laughter, lovely people and plenty of special moments. From the grandeur of the hall to the autumn colours outside, it was a fantastic setting for Elizabeth and Jack to celebrate with their family and friends.

A huge thank you to Elizabeth and Jack for having me along to capture it all. I had such a great day with everyone, including some familiar faces.

Congratulations to you both. Here’s a preview of what was a truly lovely day.

KYLA + LIAM | BEAMISH HALL

Once again, the weather looked like it was going to be against us, with an early downpour and some pretty wild winds. Thankfully, just when we needed it to, everything settled down and we got our chance to get outside and make the most of the day.

Beamish Hall looked incredible in all its autumnal colours, and it was so good to be able to take Kyla and Liam around the grounds and make the most of such a beautiful setting. We were even treated to a gorgeous sunset, with some lovely colour in the sky to finish things off.

I had a brilliant day with these two. It's always lovely to see familiar faces at weddings, and it was great to be back doing what I love, capturing all the little moments and playing my part in such an important day for Kyla and Liam.

A little bit of luck with the weather certainly went a long way, and we ended up with some beautiful moments to look back on.

CLAIRE + ROB
SPRINGKELL

It was great to be back at Springkell for Claire and Rob’s wedding. It’s such a gorgeous Scottish venue, and I was really looking forward to returning.

The forecast wasn’t looking great in the run up to the wedding, but thankfully the weather turned out much better than expected. We had some huge downpours throughout the day, but luckily they came at times when they didn’t cause any problems. Then, just after the ceremony, the sun came out beautifully and we were able to make the most of the grounds.

Claire and Rob had family and friends travelling over predominantly from America, and everyone was so lovely, warm and welcoming. It made the whole day a real pleasure, and I had a brilliant time with them all.

It was also great spending time with Claire and Rob themselves. They were a pleasure to photograph, and it was lovely to capture everything as it unfolded, from the big moments to all the little bits in between.

A beautiful venue, a lovely couple and a fantastic group of people. Great to play my part in the day.

KELLY + ANTHONY

A lovely day celebrating Kelly & Anthony at a venue I haven't shot at in a long time, the South Causey Inn.

We were lucky with the weather, the surroundings were looking beautiful, and it was especially great to catch up with some familiar faces.

It was great to be back at South Causey and to be part of Kelly & Anthony's day. Congratulations to you both, and thank you for having me along to capture it.

STEPHANIE + IAN | RICHMOND

Once again, the forecast was looking pretty grim, with heavy thunderstorms and showers supposedly due pretty much all day, but thankfully the weather gods were on our side!

We managed to get all of the main parts of the day done in lovely weather, and the heavens only really opened once everyone was tucked up nice and cosy inside the tipi. Couldn’t have timed it much better!

Stephanie and Ian were such a lovely couple to spend the day with. They were both so positive from start to finish, went along with everything and took everything in their stride. Honestly, the perfect couple to photograph.

It was a really fun and enjoyable day and we loved being part of it.

It was also great to work with IV Videography for the first time. Hopefully it won’t be the last and we get to work together again soon!

JULIE + PAUL | SHOTTON GRANGE

Such a great day with Julie & Paul at Shotton Grange.

There were big threats of thunderstorms and rain throughout the day, but somehow we managed to avoid all of it, and even had some sunshine later on. Julie’s free sausages she received the day before, followed by being buried, must have done the job!
I had a great time with Julie & Paul and all of their family and friends.

A perfect day from start to finish.

SARAH + OLIVER | GRAND VILLA HEIGHTS

What a perfect day.

Insane weather at this incredible clifftop venue, with barely a breeze, it really couldn’t have been better. Ice cream, great music, gorgeous kids running around having the time of their lives, emotional speeches and so many little moments that all added up to one brilliant day.

It was an absolute pleasure to play my part in capturing it all.

And fantastic to work with Starkfilm Weddings again, who were there capturing everything on video. Always a pleasure working alongside them!
