Beautiful morning out in Barnes park this morning for my first outdoor shoot of the year. What a perfect spring morning for it as well 😍

Lovely little family session with mum, girls and two very lovely dogs. I last worked with them a few years ago when I had the studio so it was lovely getting out in the park with them today

Well after a very busy half term keeping my 3 little humans busy I’m back to work and getting on with my massive amount of editing.

We have rode horses, played on the beach, went waterfall hunting, tried out Some hoop and silk at the tempest dance studio, watched the belsay international horse trials and generally just not stopped!

What have you all done? Did you discover any interesting places to visit?

I had an absolutely beautiful working day yesterday, the kind where you finish and all you can do is smile.

I spent my day photographing nursery and reception children from the local school. We did some beautiful outside class photos. They were all so beautifully behaved and polite and were an absolute credit to their grown-ups and the school. Well my Theo was a little cheeky when it was his classes turn but I was expecting that haha

What are you all doing for some me time?

After such an Intense year of home schooling and having the kids 24/7 I found myself needing some me time. Not just for me time sake but to get back some clarity and regain some balance, I guess just be Helen for a bit and not anything else. So I decided it was my turn to learn to ride after spending years watching my Phoebe ride.

Self care is so important. Please make sure all you lovelies out there stop and put yourself first occasionally because you really can’t be effective looking after someone else if you are not looking after yourself as well 😘

Another house day and Theo wanted me to make a Photo to match the one I edited of Rosie and Phoebe the other day. He is so funny but agreed the bunny is a good substitute for the drink he is holding.

My little darlings didn't want to get out and do anything today so I thought I would have a little play around with photoshop and an old image of Rosie and Phoebe. I thought I would add a little easter fun to it. What do you think?

Beautiful morning exploring a park we have never visited before. Such a beautiful park with lots of wildlife including wild green parrots 🦜. This place has a good chance of being used for some Easter mini sessions it’s just so beautiful

Finally some news that gives me some hope about getting back to work and seeing all
My lovely customers and friends 😍

At first glance it looks like I can be doing outdoor shoots from 29th of March and I can open the studio from 12th April, not entirely sure about doing shoots in anyone’s home as yet I’m trying to work out the official stance on that. I will post with more certainty over next couple of days when more guidance comes out. For now though I’m excited and happy to start getting you lovely lot booked in ###
