Coming up in the next month or so. Three spaces available in the next six weeks.

If you've been sitting on this decision wondering, bookmarking, coming back to look at the page, this is me gently noting that those spaces won't be there indefinitely.

A £50 booking fee confirms your session. The balance is paid on the day of your shoot experience.

The session itself is a full experience, a proper day. Makeover, Time in the studio, No rushing, No pressure just the space for you to relax into being fabulous.

A private reveal, usually around two weeks later, that more often than not ends with someone saying "I can't believe that's actually me." You can look through and love your photos for as long as you need, choose what you want in your collection or even upgrade if you really can't decide.

You've already decided to do this but if you want to know more, message me. Click the link to book your call in the comments and we'll go through exactly what you can expect, what you want from your shoot, answer any questions honestly and most importantly, see which days suit you best.

No pressure. Just an open door.

Here's a thing...
I don't use heavy retouching. Now let me explain why.

It's not because I can't, not because I don't know how but because it undermines the entire point of what we're doing.

If you come to Elland-Vee and I hand you back photographs of someone else who doesn't quite look like you, stretched and altered to make you look like Society's vision of what women should look like, then I haven't done my job.

My job is to show you what you actually look like with great light and a pose that suits you directed by someone who knows how to make the real you look extraordinary. How to present you with your perfect version of yourself.

The women in my photographs look like themselves. That's the point. That's the whole point.

Because the moment they see an image that's been significantly altered, part of them knows. And the bit that knows doesn't get the confidence boost. It doesn't feel seen. It feels managed and it's certainly not gong to make you feel amazing if I were to give you a photo that I've edited to "make you look better" 🤷

You deserve better than that. You deserve to see yourself, the real you, and think "oh wow, there I am. 😮"

Give me you, place your trust in the process and I'll give you your perfect version back again with a whole heap of confidence added.

Something I've noticed after years of doing this work.

The women who book a bo***ir session aren't doing it because they feel great about themselves.

They're doing it because they're ready to.

There's a difference.

Feeling great about yourself is a destination. Ready to is a decision.

The most powerful sessions I've ever been part of weren't with women who arrived confident and glowing. They were with women who arrived uncertain, slightly nervous but knowing they wanted to do this and decided to stay anyway.

The confidence comes. It builds in the chair during makeup. It grows in the first few minutes in the studio. It arrives properly somewhere around the second outfit change.

💬 Where are you right now, "feeling great" or "ready to"?

Three collections. One experience.

People sometimes ask me which collection is most popular, or which one they should go for. My honest answer: the right one is the one that fits where you are right now.

🤍 The Debutante Collection
If you've been thinking about this for a while but you're not quite sure yet. A full makeover, a beautiful couple of hours in the studio, and five luxurious fine art prints mounted in your own presentation box. A complete experience. A perfect place to start.

✨ The Elegante Collection
If you already know you want more than the minimum. Everything in the Debutante, plus more stunning art prints, ten mounted in a beautiful folio and a signature digital file of your chosen images to keep and share.

🔥 The Decadente Collection
This is the full statement. Extended shoot time, multiple outfit changes, twenty mounted fine art prints in a statement box folio, a signature digital copy of every image, and your own personal showreel app. This is you deciding you're worth the whole thing. Because you are.

A £50 booking fee confirms your session, The session fee of £200 is due on the day and the balance of your chosen collection is due at your reveal giving you the chance to see everything first, and upgrade if you fall in love with more than you expected and make your statement with stunning, bold wall art.

Let's talk about the reveal. Because nobody talks about the reveal enough.

You've had your session. You've gone home. A little dazed, maybe. Quietly proud of yourself. Wondering what the photographs look like.

Then you come back and we sit down together and I show you your images on a screen.

This is my favourite part of the whole process. Every single time.

Because it's the moment that can't be faked.

Some women go very quiet. Some laugh. Some cry (not sad crying, the other kind). Some say "that's not me" and then immediately say "wait, that is me."

The collection balance is due at the reveal which I mention not as a sales point, but because it means you can see everything first. You choose what you love. You can even upgrade if you find you love them more than you ever dreamed.

No pressure. No countdown clock. Just your photographs and the time to sit with them properly.

The moment is yours.

Quick one for a Weekend.

What's the difference between a photograph of someone and a portrait of someone?

A photograph captures what a person looks like.

A portrait captures who they are.

That distinction is everything I think about when I pick up a camera.

Anyone can take a photograph, but a portrait requires something else. Connection. The moment when the person in front of you stops being self-conscious and starts being present.

That's what I do, what I specialise in, what really makes me love my job, honestly.

The one thing that I look for in the edit...does this look like her, or does it look like her trying to pose for a photograph?

BIPP. Four letters that matter more than you might think.

The British Institute of Professional Photography isn't just a certificate on a wall. It's a code of conduct. A professional standard. A commitment to how clients are treated, not just how their photographs turn out.

I'm not just a BIPP member, I'm also a BIPP Director.

When you're considering inviting someone to photograph you at your most personal, that standard matters.
It means you're not taking a chance on someone with a camera and a nice Instagram grid.

It means you're working with a professional who is accountable. To you. To an industry body. To a code of ethics.

Safety, professionalism, and complete respect. Those aren't things I offer because they sound good in a caption.
They're the baseline for every woman who walks through my studio door.

Any questions about what a session actually involves?
Link in the comments, send me a message, I'm more than happy to talk it through honestly.

Let's talk about something nobody tells you before a bo***ir session.

Most women who book with me say the same thing in their first message: "I've been thinking about this for a long time."

Months, sometimes. A year or two. Occasionally longer.

And the thing that finally made them send that message wasn't a flash sale or a special offer.

It was a moment. A birthday. A relationship. A morning they looked in the mirror and thought "enough waiting, time for me, now"

There's no right time to book a bo***ir session. There's just the moment you decide you're worth it.

Which, for the record, you always were.

❓ What would make this the right moment for you?
